The first time they told me it was because they needed to perform some stupid expensive tests on my dogs before they signed off on this flea and tick medicine. So I agreed and paid the stupid fee. When I went back in to order it again, they canceled my order again. I strongly recommend anyone in EKY to use any other vet to care for your pets.

In addition to the scented candles, room sprays, and car air fresheners they are selling in the lobby (which make the whole place reek), the tiny exam room had BOTH a screw up air freshener AND a glade plug-in. In a tiny room. Take allergy meds, wear an n95, and bring your inhaler with you. Clothes, skin, and hair still reek of air freshener after siting outside for 10 minutes. Plan to wear the mask home, bathe, then wash all clothes, rinse with vinegar and hope the smell comes out of my coat. I wish I were exaggerating even a tiny bit, but I am not. It is stronger than a Bath and Body Works store in that exam room. So, since this is how we must suffer now to get vet care for our animals, wear and n95, and go prepared for an allergy or asthma attack. Nobody there has a working nose.

Never Again!, my dog was drunk and traumatized. I later, while listening to others in a vet office, overheard that their dogs had to be sedated also. I realized then, that is was not my dog needing sedated, but it was the groomers lack of experience and knowledge of animals. I prefer a person with the experience to handle a nervous dog.
