Dr Anita Lanier helped heal the pain that I had in my back, neck and legs. I always went to the room that had the heated table because it made the experience more pleasant. I have been having some lady issues lately, and my mom suggested I look for an acupuncturist again. Yelp lead me to Dr. Lanier. What a find!! During my appointment, she did a thorough assessment, and asked a ton of questions. When she started hitting my points, I felt like a human pin cushion. Dr. Lanier knows her stuff, because the moment she left the room, my body started tingling, I relaxed, then fell asleep. When I got home, I felt groggy. It wasn't alarming, I knew it was my body realigning. But boy was I drained. Last night I slept for 10hrs strait!! Something I haven't done in a while. I have been seeing Dr Lanier for over a year now for various sports injuries, and she has been great. She is very easy to talk to and is a wealth of information for not just acupuncture but for many other alternative/Eastern therapies as well. I'm an active trail runner and rock climber and have had a wide variety of injuries, and I've found that incorporating acupuncture into my regimen of medical care (as I also see a massage therapist and a physical therapist regularly as well) has been extremely helpful and beneficial to my health. read more

This was not our first visit for an Acupuncture treatment, however, it was our first with Dr. Lanier. Dr Lanier was very kind and thorough in her efforts to determine the specific treatment necessary to address your physical condition. She does this a detailed consultation with a question and answers session prior to administering the treatment. Once she gathers the information she begins her acupuncture procedures. While I was there for a specific treatment, my wife also had a session for general wellness and relaxation. Neither of us were disappointed. Dr Lanier gave me the necessary tools to address my situation, as well as made my wife feel great! At the conclusion of our appointment, Dr Lanier recommended a few herbal supplements to help assist in my treatment. They were reasonably priced and are working wonderfully so far. Her office is in a somewhat obscure location, but do not let that fool you! The office is clean and cozy. The office staff is friendly and professional! She is wonderful! I have been suffering from a sinus infection for the past few weeks and have tried everything. This was my first time having acupuncture done and Dr. Lanier made me feel extremely comfortable. She was so personable and explained everything. She spent 90 minutes with me and completed cupping, a lymphatic massage and needle work to help drain my sinuses. I liked it so much I am going back on Friday. I only know Anita from here in CA where she went to school, but I want to tell you all that she is terrific! She is very caring - but very specific and knowledgeable also. It is sometimes hard to find both a balance of "nice" with "smart and practical" in 'Healer' type people - but Anita was a student you would ask for help with classwork - plus someone who always gets invited to the party. I went to Anita Lanier for my plantar fasciitis pain. I tried physical therapy, stretching, everything to relieve my pain and nothing worked. Several sessions with Acupuncture and I felt complete relief. Anita doesn't just treat your specific pain, she consults with you about your overall health. Dr. Anita Lanier is fabulous, I injured my tail bone, and had sharp shooting pains when attempting to sit or stand. I had never had acupuncture, but thought I would try it. Dr. Lanier explained every thing to me so I was comfortable. She also gave me some Oriental Herbs and patches, which worked great. After my session I had no more shooting pains, unbelievable!
