Dr. Lok has been treating me twice a week for about a month, and I'm not only able to use a pillow for the first time in 30+ years, but he's actually healing my neck which I never thought possible. I showed up to my scheduled appointment and ended up waiting 45 minutes with no communication about what was going on. When I finally said I couldn't wait any longer, the front desk staff told me (very rudely) that they were still verifying my insurance. This was the first I'd heard of it. I had already been told the doctor would see me and that if there were any issues, I'd be informed later about potential charges. When I calmly said she could've been a little kinder about it, she snapped, "I'm done with you," and shoved a refund at me. Completely unprofessional behavior from someone in a healthcare setting. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, basic communication, and transparency. Beware.
