The tutors are mostly recent college graduates who are adaptable with their teaching method to suit your child's educational needs. This is important to me because I've tried other places where tutors were much older and  weren't experienced with the new common core method. Communication is also very easy. They reply to msgs and emails very fast, and they always try their best to accommodate our schedule, which I really appreciate because kids' schedules can be a bit chaotic. Sometimes they offer schedule changes based on upcoming tests...they really go above and beyond! They also have a very strong debate class that competes internationally, so we might try that this summer. It's been 3 years and so far it's been the best school we've tried!

This place is VERY understated and probably could be charging quadruple what they do. A lot of places have good staff but I think what sets this place apart is the company culture, which is no small factor when your kid is trying to thread the needle through all of the little details that matter in the application process (and those little things do matter if your dream is one of the top schools). The staff members all work as a team, surrounding your kid with an army of people who not only know what they're doing, (you can get that at a lot of places) but who ACTUALLY CARE and personally go above and beyond to see them succeed. They almost feel like extended family, an army of support. You can pay someone to help your kid out with applications, but you can't pay Somone to actually care! That is the difference with Elite. I don't know what or how they go about hiring people or what they do to foster that type of culture but the benefits of it go to your kid and in our case the results speak for themselves. Sure my kid is smart, has near perfect grades and test scores but so do thousands of other kids with near identical profiles. Elite helped my kid stand out from the crowd. We have been incredibly happy with her progress and overall experience at C2. The staff is one of the biggest reasons we've had such a positive experience. They are always kind, professional, and very helpful. They consistently reach out regarding tutor availability and do their best to accommodate our schedule. Their communication and dedication truly make parents feel involved and supported. The tutors themselves are knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. They teach my daughter new concepts in ways that help her feel confident and motivated. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment where she feels comfortable asking questions and growing academically. If your kids attend the La Crescenta school they pick your kids up from school and bring them back to one of there locations depending on what grade your child is now. Wish i knew of this place when my daughter was in K, she could have gotten a jump start like my son did before he attended K. They employ young tutors that have just finished high school so whatever is being thought in text books if fresh for the tutors to remember how to do the work and teach your child. La Crescenta schools are very tough, all the kids are attending some kind of after school program to meet and exceed expectations of the teachers. If you were like myself and works all day and then has to come home and go over home work with your kids then i would suggest you go with Yail. They help in group and one on one environments to make sure your child knows the work and gets their homework done without ever getting frustrated like i would get trying to help my child understand.
