I had incar lessons with them to prepare me for the g2 road test ...the instructor was so rude and…read moremade me so nervous and sometimes I almost cry because of his complements and he has problem with my schadual ,he always forget the appointment and each time I have to remind him with that.. I really don't recommend it .. If I can give them zero star I will ,but one star is the lowest one I can give

In class: The class rooms are very small, and the class I…read morewas in was full so there were barely enough chairs for everyone. Its located in a scary run down building on the corner of Brimley and Ellesmere in Scarborough walking distance from STC. When I tried booking with two of my other friends the "secretary" I talked to gave me a hard time and all three of us had to call multiple times to confirm we were all registered for the same class. Classes were terribly boring, videos shown were probably over 10 years old (on cassette and mostly fuzzy) and they were shown on a very small TV. Their white board had many scratches and stains on it making it hard to read anything the instructor wrote on the board. If you think this was bad, its only just the classes. In car lessons: The instructor I had was different from the in class instructor. I had an older man named Rafi. He had a Toyota corolla, old and basically falling apart. Learning to drive with his car was probably the worst thing ever. His brakes would only kick in at the last second (so you'd have to press very hard and early) his door handle would fall off if you open it from the inside so you have to open the window and reach to open from the outside. His car was pretty messy to. He didn't talk too much while driving just motioned where to turn and where to park, but when he did talk his directions would be very confusing (if he wants you to turn left he'd motion left but say right). Also he would always be late for my lessons and one time he just never showed up at all! It was very frustrating. I basically learned nothing from the in car lessons aside from parallel parking. One thing they failed to mention when I signed up for the class was that if you want to use the instructors car for your road test, you have to pay them $100 on top of the $275 plus tax (that's what i paid in summer of 2014) but they recently raised the prices. I think there was also a certification fee for the insurance discount. The certificate you're supposed to get, I never got. They said you have to go to another ministry to pick it up but they never told me where. On the plus side I passed my g2 test the first time, but then again I learn easily. My friend however did not (her first time ever driving was with the school) it just goes to show how much you learn here. Over all I gave this school 1 star because it was a pain to book the classes ( in class and in car ), the car used to learn was falling apart, and they don't follow up with you. I paid about $400+ for 20 hours in class, 10 hours online homework, 10 hours in car, and the road test.

I had a delay getting the driving Instructor info. But eventually when I got the Instructor- it's…read moreamazing thereafter. Waheed is the best (been with other instructors from a different institution). He knows how work on your weaknesses and fears. Best wishes if you are going for a test!

Driving school: not bad, 3.5/5. Took a mark off because a lot of rules and parts of the booklet…read morearen't gone over. In-car classes: 0/5 if you get someone who has a four-letter name. I'm not going to snitch the name here but message me if you want to make sure. ISSUE 1: The actual classes Not only was he late to almost every class, he would never schedule me in until the day before or two days before, AND he didn't follow through on finishing my classes before I left for my co-op placement. The time scheduling was really unprofessional. On top of that, he would always be on the phone or doing his own business during our lessons. And when I made repeated mistakes, he'd be pretty demeaning about it. ISSUE 2: Sketchy "rates" Basically he was purposely unclear about his hourly rates for any extra hours outside of the package. - He'd offer them like they were free because he's "generous" and "helps students", then after some sessions say that they're actually not free. When he told me his rate, I said that was completely different from what he said before and he never told me his rate; he literally replied "well I'm telling you now". You cannot do that as a professional service provider - to hide rates then tell the person after the fact with no apologies. He then got angry very quickly when I said he should have told me before. - He even texted me after that "if I told you my rates you wouldn't have taken my classes" because, as he also texted, I'm "a very cheap person". So... if he knew that and hid his rates, that looks like he got me to take his supposedly free extra hours then force me to pay for them after. Takeaway: it was manipulative to not be clear about rates. ISSUE 3: He got angry and insulting, instead of trying to resolve the issue - When I said being unclear about the rates is not okay and he can't expect me to just pay his "new" rates, he began hurling nasty insults at me and my character in person, yelling at me then asking me to get out of the car. He continued to call me names on text. Takeaway: Even if it was a misunderstanding, he should be trying to resolve that misunderstanding instead of yelling and calling names. This is not only unprofessional and excessive, it's pretty freaking mean. SUMMARY CONCLUSION After this "fallout" the day before my test, he texted he might not take me to the drive test centre (which is part of my paid package) and continued texting me insults and calling me names. I consented to going myself because I honestly never want to deal with him again. I couldn't sleep well the night before and ended up failing the test. Bye and never again. I hope no one will ever go through what I did.
