We were greeted on the main floor at the entrance by a medical assistant, she took our temperature and gave us bracelets to show that we had passed the initial test (97.5) On the 3rd floor the receptionist is there to take our preliminary information... which we had filled out online. I should say that this visit was for our annual physicals. You can't do that virtually. These appointments had been rescheduled from March, when the pandemic started. So being responsible we have made sure to do our best to stay up to date with our health. I really like our Dr. her name is Robyn Odzark. She is young and I feel she is current with new treatments. She isn't quick to prescribe medication. She listens... I have never really had to wait long for an appointment. With this new normal of mask wearing. We both were masked and hands sanitized. I find her to be very professional. The office staff is also very professional, friendly, and attentive. I have had to call to get refills on RX's and they always get back to me in a timely fashion. I am very happy being a patient of this practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Odzark as well as the staff!!! And the new location is state of the art!!!

She didn't even know my situation and proceeded to speak in Spanish about me like I couldn't understand her. The biggest problem arose at my baby's 2 month appointment. They are very pushy about vaccines, and adherence to the CDC schedule. We wanted to do a delayed schedule (yes we wanted all the vaccinations, but we just wanted to space them out a little) but our dr was very firm with it and told us that we either had to do all 5 vaccines at once that day or we must leave and find a new ped for reason of "failure to vaccinate our child." I tried to talk with her about spacing them out but she just immediately shut me down about it and tried to scare me and push me into doing it. I had to sign a paper saying I wasn't doing what was best for my child and that I wasn't vaccinating my child. Even though all I wanted was a little space between vaccines. So we left and found a new pediatrician who actually listens and takes time with their appointments and answers my questions thoroughly. Our new pediatrician doesn't push the vaccine schedule and allows us to space them out how we (the parents) see fit. They work with us in our child's care, not against us like Pediatric Associates does. If you're okay with quick appointments and the CDC vaccine schedule then Pediatric Associates is the way to go, but there are better options out there.

They make an appointment. Great! Friday at 2:45. She never said the date just the day. Friday. I repeat the day and time back to Gabrielle. She says,see you then. Friday,I get my son out of school early because of the time of the appointment. We get to the Rincon office. We sign in. We sit down. No one says anything to us. We wait,for 55 minutes. Nothing. I walk up to the counter and I ask, Does my son even have an appointment today?? No. No she said. Apparently, Gabrielle never put in the computer that my son was supposed to have an appointment at all! I wasn't mean or upset. I simply asked for another appointment. Next Wednesday! So I got my son out of school for nothing! And he isn't going to be seen?! I told my husband and he was livid! He calls the Pooler office and Gabrielle told him that the person who took my call was new? It was her! Then she said my son's appointment was yesterday?! She clearly told me and I repeated back,Friday! Not Thursday! My husband asked to speak to the manager. She puts him on hold for 15 minutes. She said my son could be seen tomorrow, Saturday. Then she put him on hold for 15 more minutes. Not only did she change her mind about him being seen tomorrow, she told my husband that he was being ugly to her. Gabrielle said that her manager told her that she didn't have to talk to my husband if he was being ugly! He wasn't. He never swore! Nothing. She hung up on him! That was the extent of what we are dealing with.
