The teachers are great and I really do feel like they're part of our Team helping to raise our daughter. They care about her development and cheer her on each day. I never hesitate to contact them or ask a question during the day (and they always are quick with a reponse!). -The app is a wonderful tool. It makes it easy to communicate with the teachers/them with you. If you get to work and realize you forgot to tell them something, it's so easy to let them know. -The curriculum they follow is fun and educational. Every week we get pictures and notes of all the fun things our kid did. Even though she's not even 1, they have her painting and exploring things! I think she has more fun there than at home some day. -The teachers always know what happened if there's an incident, which as my daughter learns to stand/walk, are bound to occur. She has never come home with a random scratch or bruise and no explanation. -The cameras are great (especially at first). Leaving a 12 week old was so difficult and having the cameras to look in on her really helped. Now it's just fun to pop in and see how she's doing. It makes me feel less cut off from her. -We feel very safe having her here. It was a tough decision to send her back during covid, but we have had nothing but a positive experience. I even saw a staff member sanitizing a high chair, a baby put one hand on it when the staff member went to put it away, and she sanitized it all over again. The staff is always wearing masks. All the safety protocols in place made me comfortable enough to send her back. We are so happy to have Everbook on our Team!

The hours are also better than some other places, where you can bring your child in anytime from 6:30am to 6:30pm. Our children love going here, I'm a big fan that they provide the lunches and snacks for the kids (one less thing to have to worry about), and they use an app where you can get real-time updates about how your child is doing as far as meals, diapers, naps, etc. Some of the teachers are more or less on top of sending you a photo of your kid to you too. You can also use it to send messages to the teachers too. Outside each classroom they have a post of what the daily schedule is, plus what are the activities for each day. Recently, our child comes home with usually at least 1 project from the day, usually drawing or painting, etc. However, there are times I visit my child during when the schedule says they'll be doing some activity, to find the kids mostly having free roaming time. The negatives are that there does seem to be a lot of staff turnover, especially in the infant room, though the lead teachers are stable, the assistant teachers changed over at least 4 times in the course of one year. I also don't like that they dont ever announce any of this, so you have no clue if they went away on vacation and then to realize a few weeks later that they must have left. Similar to one of the older posts from a few years ago, it still rings true, where our child has been called out to go home early because they thought she had the various illnesses that were going around the school. Each time we pulled her out, brought her to the pediatrician, who confirmed she was fine and didn't have the symptoms of the illness they said they thought she had.

Put on your grippy socks and you're good to go. We spent hours here burning off steam and playing in the quieter area upstairs that has dress up and pretend kitchens and checkout lanes. Throughout our time the staff was constantly coming through and sweeping and cleaning, which made us feel better about our kiddo touching everything in sight during our visit. I'm so glad that we discovered a new favorite place in Just Play and am already looking forward to our next visit there

I live really close to the Vets Park pool but I think Fuller Park's may be my new spot. First off, it's HUGE. I think maybe the biggest public outdoor pool in Ann Arbor? They have several lanes for laps, a deep end for swimming, and a shallower end for kids. They also have a separate waterslide tucked in the back (although it doesn't empty into a pool). While Vet's Park is better for the really little ones (they have more of a toddler pool with overhead sprinklers and such) Fuller is better for older folks. In fact, the last 10 minutes of every hour is "Adult swim." Anyone under 18 has to get out of the pool so the adults can have a bit of a peaceful float for 10 glorious minutes. It's not just great for swimming either. It's wonderful for relaxing as well. They have LOTS of lounge chairs and pergolas to keep you semi shaded. I spent several fantastic hours here this past weekend cooling off in the water for a bit and then heading back to my chair to dry off and read a book. It was lovely. If you're feeling peckish they have a few vending machines for beverages and snacks. They have a couple of ice cream novelty machines too. Oh, and they have a few picnic tables and areas for parties. $5 a day for adults, $4 for kids and seniors. They have resident yearly passes ($140 for adults or $265 for familes) or punch passes (10 punches for $40 or 20 punches for $80) if you don't think you'd use the yearly pass often enough for make it worth your while. The pool is pristine, the locker rooms are also clean, and it's just so spacious and great. I really genuinely love it there and can't wait for my next visit!

Two fire pits allow for warming up if your fingers start to freeze. Overall this is a fantastic place to spend some quality time being active outdoors all year round.

First the parents are not allowed inside the gym. There is see-through paneling up that allows the parents to see inside the room and if it is very quiet outside in the waiting room you can still hear what is being said....I don't think the instructors realize this because, there were quite a few times were I could hear them making disparaging remarks towards the students. Specifically, my son has a rather unusual name but only one syllable and therefore easy to learn with a little effort; well instead of learning his name, they would just refer to him as "boy". I found this rather rude. There were several other children in the class and they had no problem remembering their names. There was also another instructor there one day and she was asking the usual instructor if they should have another student go again and she rolled her eyes and said, "what's the point?". The student looked rather hurt. I mean they are 4 so of course they don't get things right....that is the point in giving them lots of chances to try again and again. Besides their rudeness. The students basically walk around the equipment and don't interact with it much. They have two walk-overs on the balance beam and they hop on the vault platform. The rest of the time they are just walking or hopping around in a circle. It really just seemed pretty silly. There was no learning of how to do stretches or footwork or muscle building. It was just like any other playgroup one would see at First Steps or the ones anyone can attend for free at the library except in this instance they are surrounded by expensive gymnastics equipment. They never checked in with me to see if my child would continue after the Groupon; which I also thought was rather weird. What is the point of having a Groupon if you are going to treat the people that use them like crap? Do you really think that will help your image? If you don't want people to use them because, you don't want to teach the children at that reduced rate then simply don't offer them. I mean there was never a hello or goodbye from the instructor....I was completely ignored. We didn't even bother going to the 4th session because, my son said the instructor was mean and it really made me wonder what else they were saying that I just missed and couldn't hear because, we weren't allowed in the gym.
