After the initial purchase of our house 8 years ago, there was no question as to who we would turn to to manage the sale of the property. Eight years ago, the market was CRAZY with houses lasting only hours and going for outrageous amounts over asking. My husband and I came from So California (thus understanding the market) with the goal of finding a house that weekend. We actually DID find a house that checked all of the boxes. I said- Trish, make this happen. With a carefully crafted offer (not outrageous over asking) she landed the deal. Trish remained in contact over the 8 years with referrals for painters, flooring, and contractors. Now selling in a flat market, again, Trish to the rescue with strategies that landed us EIGHT offers within the first few days. She prepared spreadsheets and walked us through everything. I will not only miss Trish as an agent but feel I moved out of state from a friend. She is attentive, responsive and most importantly very transparent with all aspects of the options with the purchasing as well as sale of a property. We felt supported at all times. Matt wasn't the lowest rate, the highest sale volume, nor did he cite a substantially higher sale price. But his recommendations on prep/staging/marketing; his full-service, detailed, and organized approach; and our ability to speak honestly about expectations really stood out. We also appreciated that he recommended ways to highlight the unique touches in the home, rather than (literally) whitewashing everything as some other realtors advised. His approach magnified the things we loved about the home and the care we put into maintaining and improving it. We were out-of-state during the majority of the sale, and relied on Matt and his team very heavily for sale preparation. He made proposals, got quotes, and oversaw work. Matt was upfront about whether he thought each suggested improvement would pay for itself, and actively advised against changes other realtors had suggested that he didn't think were worth it. He was always clear that it was our decision and also happily accommodated us doing some of the work ourselves. Because of his and his team's diligence we were able to hit our target list date, with a house that was shown in its best light. The local market had become more uncertain: markets were softening and a similar house down the street was sitting on the market after weeks, despite a price drop. We adjusted our intended list price (still within his initial range) and our expectations, but Matt remained confident in the home and how it would show. We got an under-asking offer early, and Matt went into overdrive to solicit additional offers. Ultimately we got a very attractive at-list-price offer, the house went pending within a week of listing, and we had a very smooth closing experience. There's always luck involved, but we expect that with most other realtors it would have more work for us to get the house on the market and the sale price would have been lower.

We originally intend to be more passive while looking at houses and would take time to look through options. Matt was very receptive to that and always ensure we are truly comfortable with any decision we make. In the end, we got a new home pretty quickly also below the list price. The negotiation was handled expertly and any problems during the transactions were handled efficiently. I'd totally recommend Matt to anyone looking to buying a property actively or passively alike.

As a single mom I was super worried about making big moves but I was quite intrigued with her because she had accomplished my goals plus more. From woman to woman, I am so glad I met her because she had my best interest at heart. And…read morethis was a sellers market, so all this made it quite challenging and potentially stressful. So i need to chose a local real estate agent very carefully and i made the right choice with Lynn Downing! From our first phone call, to her sending me listings almost every day and daily email exchanges, she was always on top of things and extremely responsive. I didn't make it easy for her, as i wanted I refused to pay full price even in a hot market, but she didn't flinch, she searched for houses based on what i wanted and kept me updated on what was going on. She grew up and has always lived in this area, so she really knows everything here and has a good sense about what houses are worth, which areas are good for what you want and all the trends. Which is really important when you are not a local yourself. We finally flew up here for a day, and she planned it perfectly, we fit 7 houses into our schedule for the day, she had setup appointments and always kept the sellers updated on when we were coming. We were lucky and found a house right then. But then she really kicked into another gear, as the sellers were old hicks, and didn't really have a proper real estate agent, so she had to be patient with them as they figured things out and there was a lot of back and forth negotiations which i liked but probably drove the sellers and Lynn crazy. But she never complained and always did what i asked. Finally even after we bought our house and i thought her job was done, she kept in touch and helped us with the movein, coordinating things while we were still out of state and even once we moved in i kept asking her questions about finding things in the area and she always gave quick replies and even came by once to see how we are doing. She also happens to have a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun to work with, which helps when you are on the phone with your agent every day for months! A wonderful agent, i can't recommend her enough!

    Update base on the business reply : As their customer since…read moreFebruary, I can say their listing agent, selling agent , lender who got in contact with us are all very not helpful at all, not only they are blur on delivering messages and information, but also are just has no idea what they are doing at all, answering the wrong questions, not clear on the contract, trying to get away with problems- as they take your complains for nothings and all they can do to put this poor guy Jared out to say" oh sorry we can't really do anything " and that's all, sorry we take your money but can't do anything! Figure something out ! Their California agent Christina Felix is very unprofessional and only thing she did was stressing out the costumer , when we sign the contract she was very pushy and didn't explain clear enough. We agreed the seller stay in the property with 3 week rent back, but agent told them it's free without being clear to us , which on the contract shows as blank , which does not mean $0- and she later claims something on the contract says " licensed fee $0" means rent back free. They are using undirected term to trick people who doesn't understand the actual meanings. After we complain to the Flyhomes , they said they can't cover our loss, and not responsible for the mistake, and they start asking us if we want to back out the offer ( that way they can take our earnest money and buy the house , resale it, then make profit out of it ) we are beyond annoyed and very frustrated because we are in the middle of buying this house , we love the property, but Flyhome is just very unprofessional, and has no idea what they are doing, miscommunication with lender ,buyer , seller , ..etc . I highly suggest people who is thinking use them, think twice ! By the way , their mortgage interest rate is completely rip off, DO NOT Use them

    I had a great experience with Veronica when selling my house. The market was not very favorable to…read moresellers at the time, with interest rates at a high, and many of the buyers were put off by the relatively smaller yard, but she managed to reach out to thousands of prospective buyers, and get at least a hundred people to actually show up at the house. I also had a tight timeline because I had to leave the US within a couple of months. In the end she managed to reach the right buyer. During the preparation phase, she did her own inspection of the house to get ahead of any serious issues. She then put me in touch and reached out with the necessary contractors to get any high-priority repairs needed. Finally she handled staging the house to make it look as pretty as possible. Throughout the selling process she and her team held ten days of open houses, and over 50 individual showings. She followed up with many of them, as well with other agents to get a feel for how the market was doing. Because of that we got a good feeling for why the house wasn't selling and then made further changes. When we got an offer, she tried to make the closing and negotiations as smooth as possible, and tried to handle most of the stressful things behind the scenes. She is friendly, smart and very hard-working. She will get your house in front of the eyes of a LOT of people, and then get feedback from them and gradually suggest fixes to make it more likely to sell. I highly recommend you consider her as your real estate agent.
