I felt like I was shopping with a good friend. She was happy to help not just me, but other customers shopping as well. All the girls working that night were very friendly! I know how hard retail can be, being a manager of a retail store myself. I love getting nice reviews about my hard work. It makes the stressful days pay off! Worst experience ever with the cashier this afternoon. We've been customers of this store for years…read moreand have never been treated as carelessly as we were today. Don't get me wrong, the salesman was very helpful pulling sizes and giving great advice. The tailor was also knowledgeable and did a good and was friendly. Things however went quickly south when we got to the cashier to pay. To say that the young woman at the register was rude as an understatement. There was not only a lack of basic retail service skills, but the young woman's attitude was borderline hostile. Basic questions about the breakdown of the charges and any discounts we might be able to take advantage of were met with rolled eyes, huffing, and puffing...at one point she literally walked away and starting ringing up another customer! I've worked retail and know it's a tough job, but this is NOT who you behave with customers, especially when we were nothing but courteous. K&G, do better with vetting, hiring, and training your staff! This was absolutely ridiculous. I'm angry that I had to interact with this person and your company should be ashamed to employ someone like that.

Sean was a very helpful and attentive salesman. He let me know this particular style ran big and surmised that the boots that would fit me would be a half size smaller than usual. He was right. They didn't have the copper color in stock but once I ascertained my correct size and fit, Sean ordered them for me. They arrived at my door in just a few short days. I have been wearing them around the house for the past two days but honestly, they are extremely comfortable. It seems no break-in period needed as is the case with some boots in general and some western boots in particular. Tecovas will shine/polish the boots for free any time you're in the store. They also will etch them for free with my initials or another of their designs if I so desire. The journey is not in on this option yet. They also offer to stretch them for you if they need it. Fortunately mine do not. I am thrilled with my new boots. How many pairs of western style boots are too much? I don't know the answer to that yet. ;-) Thank you Sean and Tecovas.

Took my teenager daughter to buy a dress, she found one she liked but wanted to buy it the next day…read moreso she could bring her own money. She put the dress on hold, was told the hold would last till the next day until closing time. The next day we went to buy it and pick it up only to learn the dress had been put back on the floor and were asked if we had already checked the floor before going to retrieve our hold. The same dress on the display had lipstick and a fray on it (which the dress we had put on hold did not). We had to order it online and could not pay in cash. Anthropology has always done holds, and when reassured the hold would be there it is very disappointing to find it was gone, especially an expensive dress like the one we were buying.

I was able to snag a new pair of OnClouds (OnCloud X3) for $90 & the same style + color is still full price at Nordstrom for $150. Also, many nice clothing brands like Levi, Joe's Jeans, TopShop, Naked Wardrobe, Good American, AGOLDE, etc can be found here.
