I have a lot of problems with my left leg due to surgery. She has helped me a lot with the pain in my leg. I tell her which area of my body is giving me trouble. She will spend more time on that area to help me the most. I really enjoy a deep tissue massage. If you don't like that much pressure just let her know. She is also a wonderful person and a great listener. A few years I was working up to 10 hours per day sitting down in an office environment. I was having so many neck and lower back problems. She told me about different stretches and exercises I could do throughout the day to alleviate pressure and pain. She is very helpful. Her business is located upstairs in a Chiropractor's office. It's a very clean and relaxing massage room. The massage table is comfortable. She will put more blankets on or take some off depending on your needs. This massage far exceeded the "foot rubs" you get with a pedicure. She has studied extensively, has advanced degrees and despite being confined to a wheelchair due to a BAD ankle break, administered an excellent foot massage. There is plenty of free parking on-site with delightful, vibrant flowers ALL OVER. A treat for the senses and a stimulus to stop by a nursery on the way home to buy too many plants! The entry area is clean, inviting and relaxing with subdued lighting and no objectionable odors. The treatment rooms are clean but very cluttered--disinfecting bottles, boxes, etc. Overall this was an excellent visit and I scheduled another.

I generally have earaches with sinus congestion, and I believe the work she was doing released a lot of the pressure I've struggled with this winter. I had a couple of days of recovery from the muscle work and sinus drainage, but it's all been worth it in the end. And I really appreciated her sharing her knowledge of health and wellness. I was going to one in Greenville but found Jan right here in Simpsonville less than 2 miles from me! Jan is fantastic and a professional. Since this was my first appointment with Jan, I decided to have a reflexology massage (feet) just to see if we were a good fit. To my surprise, she focused on both the feet and hands. OMG, the warm towels and the lavender oil, the soothing music exceeded my expectations. My feet hadn't been manipulated since leaving MD and after Jan massaged them I swear the life returned back to my feet! My feet haven't felt this good in years! I mean she gets in between the toes, ankles, stretches the foot, she didn't skip a beat. Awesome experience! I can't wait to have my next appointment with Jan for an integrated deep tissue massage.
