She told us our pictures would be ready in 4 weeks and weren't given to us until almost 8 weeks. We did not receive the full 7 poses but a variety of 3 poses in different angles. This was all my fault for arriving 10 minutes late after an hour long car ride and trying to stop and feed the baby before arriving (one of her many stipulations in order to ensure she can get you the 7 poses) She is rude and not customer friendly. (I paid A LOT for these pictures I can post them wherever I please the complaint was not with the pictures but that they took almost 8 weeks to receive and her business ethic is lacking!) ********The thing is I wrote the review for parents considering to use your service to get a full spectrum of what can occur. Definitely, not to engage with you, Ms. Israeli. I still have the numerous lengthy texts you sent trying to diagnose my infant with several diseases and ailments you pronounced. Stating that you snapped pictures of spiritual quotes I posted under my daughters pictures and sending people to my FB page speaks volumes. I feel harassed, please do not violate my privacy in retaliation for a bad review. As a business owner, you should understand that a customer reserves the right to write a review on the services received. Instead of attacking them, you should be attempting to remedy the concerns. I had recently hired Cassie to capture my girlfriends' surprise party, and let me tell you, I am still in awe. From the moment I contacted Cassie, with my absurdly redundant, and overly anal-borderline-psychotic ideas and instructions, she made it clear as day, that she will make it happen. She showed up at the event space with her full gear an hour early to set-up her gear, photo-booth, and get a feel for the space and lighting. When my girlfriend and I arrived, all of our guests had already been well acquainted with Cassie - and as our door opened, the party roared, "SURPRISE"! and out popped Cassie like a paparazzi and *FLASH* *FLASH*. For the next 4 hours, Cassie didn't miss a thing. She was EVERYWHERE, but at the same time, nowhere. I mean, I don't recall her ever being in the way, or stopping/nagging anyone to pose for pictures or anything - but she was clearly there... All 500 photo's I received are proof of this. Which is another thing that blows my mind. I know with previous photographers, generally only 5-10% of the photos they take, are useable and nice-looking photo's. Cassie sent me 500, yes 500, INCREDIBLE photos. Every photo could be an album cover photo... I sent the photos to everyone who attended the party, and everyone was absolutely amazed. The reactions to the photos, brings back every ounce of laughter we experienced the night of. This is exactly what a photograph should do. These aren't photos you can get anywhere else. You cannot get photos like this from your iPhone. You cannot get photos like this from your Canon 5D. You cannot get photos like this from most other photographers out there. From our first meeting I was very comfortable working with her. She has the kind of personality that is professional, yet very friendly and approachable. She came to our apartment for our first consultation and patiently listened to all of my preferences for photo's that I was most interested in having captured on our special day. The day of the wedding she was absolutely great! She met up with my husband and his groomsmen and took a bunch of great shots of their group. It was a perfect mixture of candid, serious, and funny/casual poses. Before the wedding while I was getting ready, she was great at running between where my bridal party was getting ready and where my husband and his groomsmen were, in order to capture as many photo's as possible. The entire day I was completely comfortable and relaxed, knowing she was doing a great job. I think when working with a photographer the most important thing is to feel comfortable and confident with them; and I definitely did with Cassie. Since the wedding she has been nothing but responsive, helpful, and professional. My husband and I already ordered a small album that she put together for my parents as a Christmas present. Kristen to the rescue! Kristen came up on a random google search, promptly responded to my email and I crossed my fingers we ended up with some good photos. I could not have imagined what an absolute joy it was to meet her and what amazing memories she captured! It was a small backyard party but Kristen was so professional and thorough - it mattered as much to her as a huge wedding. She was amazing with the small children and even better with the nervous in front of the camera grandparents! Kristen took pictures of every detail, the "big" moments and more importantly the small moments. Having a baby during covid meant that we missed out on capturing some of his first year with family and friends. Thankfully I know have a TON of amazing photos that bring a huge smile to my face whenever I look at them (which is still quite often). She's an LBI local who's very familiar with the best spots to capture photographs. She's super personable and easy to get along with, which makes for a relaxing photo session. Our family photo shoots involve 6 adults and 3 kids and she captures everyone along with smaller groups (like grandparents with the grandkids or individual families). She is patient and understanding and knows how crazy it can be when kids get tired or rambunctious. She can do multiple locations for photo shoots - just recently we did the beach for some pics and then headed to Sunset Park to use as another location. In years past we used the lighthouse.
