Of course, you should trim your stems, change your water and pull expired blooms. These steps help extend the life of your flowers and this bouquet is going strong, but honestly I think the quality of the blooms and foliage matter, the way they are cared for before being put into an arrangement matters. I realize the example shown on the website may not look exactly like what is delivered, but it should be comparable. Wow the difference is drastic. The dried roses and leaves received were so minimal in taste and color, it was laughable--except that it cost $60. For the price, I could have gone to Michaels and got something much better. I even included a 15% tip with the order! Needless to say, I will never order from Bloom again. They got one star for delivery.

Their communication was top-notch--they checked in on our progress regularly and provided a clear timeline that made the entire process stress-free. We loved that we could share a vision board and that they were happy to revise until we were completely thrilled. They also set realistic expectations, especially about what flowers were available in November. We had our hearts set on some blue tones, and they did an amazing job working through solutions with us, knowing that nature has very few true blue flowers. The final result was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. While there was a travel fee to our venue in Estes Park, it was well worth every penny to have their expertise. They also picked up all of their stands for a fee, which was a huge relief and completely worth it to not stress out our wedding party on the day after the wedding. A quick note to future couples: we learned the hard way that you can get a discount by paying with a check, something they clearly state on their site. We missed it, and while they couldn't reverse our payment, we wanted to share this so others can take advantage of that great offer. That was entirely on us, not Lace and Lilies.
