My sister is in the hospital out of state. I went online Thursday night and used Teleflora requesting a Friday delivery. Friday afternoon, I received an email stating Teleflora couldn't find a florist that could do the order in their network of florists. I was so disappointed. This morning (Saturday) I looked for Florists in Ft. Collins and Paul Wood Florist designs looked nice and they had great reviews so I called and spoke to Caitlyn. Amazing bouquet had to ask my assistant where she got them!!! Amazing flowers and unique bouquet!!!

Yesterday, I was surprised at work by a delivery of the most gorgeous arrangement - truly stunning. My wonderful boyfriend ordered an arrangement that came with a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates and Paul Wood even included a dahlia at his request because he knows they're one of my favorite flowers. The fragrance of these is just out of this world and my coworkers have commented that the hallway even smells wonderful. This arrangement has received oohs and aahs from many. The stargazer lilies are just breathtaking- they are about the size of my outstretched hand (out to my fingertips)! I am so in love with this arrangement. There are several buds as well so I will get to enjoy them as they open up, and continue to brighten up my workspace with their beauty. My boyfriend commented on how much bigger and beautiful the arrangement appeared in person vs. the photo/description online. I called this florist today to have a bouquet of flowers delivered to a friend in Ft Collins. They were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The wonderful woman I chatted with on the phone was polite and professional. I gave them a price range and they were able to create a beautiful bouquet for delivery--they were even happy to accommodate my request for cat-safe flowers as the recipient has some kitties that like the chew on plants. I used Paul Wood Florist to create what turned out to be a stunning floral design for my Father's Memorial Service. It was a very somber occasion and I can truly say that the beautiful, fresh and lively creation lifted the spirit of many hearts. Patsy Deines is in charge of the department serving individuals with their needs in difficult times like this. She was sensitive, kind (offering to deliver the arrangement to the church herself) and very helpful as I tried to explain the design that I had envisioned. She executed it perfectly. Her suggestion of using the color orange (lilies) against the red of the American Beauty roses was brilliant, as it brought the entire piece to life! Several people commented on the brilliance of the colors and the density of the flowers. It was a truly original, lovely piece of art which is exactly what I was looking for. I chose Paul Wood to help me celebrate my Father's life and they did that full well, just as they helped me 32 years ago, when decorating the church and reception hall for my wedding. Quite simply, they haven't lost their touch and I will use them again in the future I'm sure (as I have two nieces who live in Ft. Collins). They have great reviews, and lovely photographs, so I called long distance and ordered a "Cheer Someone Up and Brighten their Day" arrangement to be delivered, expecting it to look cheerful. The photo that the recipient posted reminded me of an arrangement where someone took several of the odds and ends of bits left over from other arrangements and put them in a glass. There was nothing bright and cheery, and no "cohesion" to the arrangement. I called and they re-delivered a much more cheerful version - at no extra charge.
