So make sure that you quickly form a routine that works best with your schedule, especially if you're student is in K-5. I don't say this as a bad thing, but it is something to be noted. The SOTI staff was great, their system keeps parent in the loop of whats going on in classes, and also with homework and events. My child had her favorites when it comes to teachers, but I try to explain that there is no one style of teaching. Sometimes you get a teacher that just seems to get you, and other times you get a teacher that others may love, but you don't connect with their method of teaching. It happens... We started out child at SOTI in the 4th grade, and there was definitely a bit of a learning curve that they had to overcome to catch up with the curriculum. I feel like SOTI is about 1 year ahead of the county schools. We definitely had to be hands on with helping play catch up, and the teachers met with us regularly for support. Even though we only stayed for 1 year. Our time here made a huge difference, that I can still see in our child's development. For new students coming in, the summer programs give the kids a chance to make friends before the school year starts. Events like the Father/Daughter dance and Gala give parents a chance to be social with and without the kids. We made so many new friends during out time at SOTI, parting ways wasn't any easy decision to make.

Pffffft school of the incarnation more like joke. school cares about money more than anything else…read more Teachers are fine but the way they run the school makes me think the k-2 wing should be in-charge. Every week they ask for money and don't seem to do much with it. You don't really grow your faith nor skills. Some kids had 5 math teachers in one year and they didn't seem to really care. If giving a half a star was possible that's what you would see up top

While walking my dog, I noticed how well-maintained and family-friendly the grounds were. I could hear the school intercom during what sounded like a summer program activity, possibly a rock-paper-scissors tournament, which created a fun and positive atmosphere. The park itself offers plenty of options for children and families, including playground equipment, swings, slides, basketball and tennis courts, and educational nature signs featuring local wildlife information. The grounds were clean and well-kept overall. The only area that appeared to need some attention was portions of the foam safety surface beneath the playground equipment. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning. Bowie continues to impress as a community that is welcoming to both families and pets. Adult swings and plenty of places to set for lunch our gold drink.

When I drop my child off, I'm greeted by every staff member and they know my child by name including the principal. The staff engages me in his educational goals regularly and keeps me up to date on all changes to help meet these goals . Lastly, I love that even if my child shows up with a scratch at school, they call me. It might sound like a lot for some parents, but this reassures me that he's an environment that prioritizes safety and attentiveness to each individual child.

My 4 year old daughter has attended Goddard school for about a year. I am absolutely pleased with every aspect of my daughter's care. They focus on all aspects of child's development- education, social, science and technology. They follow STEM curriculum, where teachers engage each child in a daily scheduled activities. You can drop in on any day and watch your kid interact with their daily activities and teachers and you always get a daily report of your child's day when you come and pick them up. They also offer a monthly newsletter to keep the parents know of what's going on for that month. My overall experience with the Goddard School is amazing , thank you Ms Manisha and staff. All i can say is my child will be attending kindergarten this year with a bag of knowledge and sweet memories.

She started when she was just 2 years old, and as an only child, she has flourished in ways I never imagined within just one year. The facility is super clean. Cleanliness is so important for preschoolers, and Goddard takes it seriously. But it's not just the space that's clean--the staff are cheerful, professional, and genuinely happy. And happy caregivers mean happy children. If you're a parent who sometimes struggles with "mom guilt" like I do, you'll appreciate that Goddard provides a real breakfast. Not just a snack, but a hearty morning meal. It takes the pressure off when mornings don't go as planned and you missed breakfast that morning. Goddard is not a daycare--it's a preschool. I didn't fully understand the difference until my daughter started here. The teachers are amazing, the leadership team is respectful and professional, and the owner is warm, approachable, and lovely to speak with. When I moved to the area, I toured more than a dozen childcare facilities, and while many were just "facilities," none came close to the level of care, professionalism, and joy at Goddard Gambrills.
