I have used Annapolis Taxi many times for travel to or from the three airports (Dulles, Reagan, BWI) and my home port in Crownsville. They arrive ahead of time, have courteous and careful drivers, and clean vehicles. If they are meeting your plane, the driver will call your mobile phone and tell you where he is. When we asked for face mask use while Covid was still an issue, there was no problem. Heavy luggage was handled without comment. I usually ask for the price ahead of the trip. very poor. quoted a rate and added 50 percent due to traffic. I was never told about the rate increase until i arrived. was told the cab had a meter but it did not. car was not marked as a cab and there were no visible licenses for the car or the driver I was ripped off from what appears to be an unlicensed cab. read more

Use Uber or Lyft instead of this service. It is much much cheaper. I called for a ride because taxis are usually less than Uber. Not in this case. This Driver overcharged for a trip stating that he charged for the round trip based on where he had to start and end his trip. Not based on my location. The driver was very nice but save your money and use Uber or Lyft instead. read more

The polite driver charged me $57 to drive me from a Bestgate Rd medical building to Severna park near Kohl's. There was no meter and no way to know if the charge was legit. I've paid half that for a taxi from BWI! I should have used Uber. read more

He was accurate to within a minute or two. The taxi was clean, the driver friendly and professional ... and a conscientious driver. Attempt to book online failed. Called and they came right away, but apparently an independent contractor, no signs or markings on the vehicle to identify it as being from Annapolis City Taxi. Quick efficient ride, but no visible meter, and upon arrival the driver merely said, "Give me $20" That same ride a few hours earlier, in a cab with a meter, cost $16. This is a great taxi company! They picked up right when I called and came directly to my location, no questions asked. At first I called Annapolis Taxi Service, and they were so rude to me! They told me they couldn't pick me up at the bus station because it wasn't an actual building (?!!) and refused to pick me up even though if gave them the address. It also took a long time for them to pick up. Then I called Annapolis City Taxi, and all I had to say was I was at the bus station, and they came right over! We had the same taxi driver going to and from the bus station, and he remembered us, and was very nice and polite! His taxi number was 13. He even let us use his phone charger. read more

When I asked him why he was giving me a different price than the one he had originally told me over the phone he proceeded to tell me to take an uber and raised his window while I was still speaking to him and drove away. We were Marching in DC on January 21 and the only rooms we could find were out in Annapolis, Maryland. Transportation into the March became and issue. UBER has special event pricing that skyrockets and the METRO said there could be long lines and waits. (some people said they had 3 hour waits for the METRO)!! Used Annapolis City Tax for the first time in mid August 2014. Had to get to BWI by about 5:30 am. Driver arrived just before my 5 am appointment with him in a clean, smoke-free cab. Driver was friendly, but gave me space when I needed to do some things online en route. Picked me up at the airport minutes after my flight arrived on my return.
