I brought in suit pants to be hemmed and jeans to be hemmed. Both came back looking great. The guy was friendly and professional and quick. My pants were done within the week. They are not open every day, nor are they open all day, so it was a little tricky getting there in the middle of a workday, but I am glad I did. Price was good as well. read more

Came highly recommended but I was highly disappointed. I requested a refund because the straps of the two dresses I paid $70 to alter kept falling off. It was almost as if they were not altered at all. When I requested a refund, they were extremely offended, very defensive, and told me that straps of dresses will fall off. I'm 31yo and have worn hundreds of dresses - straps don't fall off. It was a really unprofessional response. I was just disappointed in a product and wanted a refund. I have been going to Anna's since she opened, many many years ago. The quality of seamstress that Anna is, is few and far between. I have always been extremely happy with the finished piece from simple repairs, formal wear, and finish on jean hems match the original finish. My boys, who live in Texas, will still send jeans home with me so Anna can alter simply because you cannot tell a difference in the finished stitching/trim! Anna and Gary work magic! I've brought clothes to Anna's alterations over the last 15 years. I'm petite and clothes do not typically fit well without the assistance of Anna's talent. Anna and Gary work great as a team. The workmanship is flawless (better than the original sewing in many cases) whether Anna is altering my dresses, pants, hats, jackets, tanks, shirts etc. Her original hem on jeans is amazing and I've yet to have another seamstress finish the hem of jeans in the same manner. One cannot tell they have been modified. This business is busy, but both Anna and Gary work very hard to meet the needs of their customers in my experience. The pricing is fair. Sewing is a lost art! I have nightmares about Anna retiring! Wish she had an apprentice. Durango is lucky to have the talent and expertise of both Gary and Anna! read more
