I estimate I saved at least $50....seriously! Plus, I am helping to build more homes for those in need! Be warned that it may take a bit to fish thru the stuff. What else? Previous trips, I've found wood blinds for $8 each (unheard of), new range hood for $15 (at least $75 at the store), wood pieces and trim super cheap, paint primer, cabinet doors...etc. Just wish they were closer...then again, I like to stop in here and on the way back stop in Menard's for those things I couldn't find at Habitat. Caio.

Was really excited that I had found someone closer to me than Columbus to sharpen my blades and…read moreshears. Dropped my blades off on a Wednesday picked them up Thursday. Got to work Friday morning and was excited to use my sharpened blades. Immediately I noticed a problem. The blades weren't cutting, they were pulling the hair and the hair was getting stuck in the blades. And it was every single blade all 7. Fast forward a week I take them down to someone in Cincinnati who has their own grooming and pet daycare business. And he managed to fix them. He informed me that my blades were not sharpened correctly. 2 of the ceramic plates that were put on were not the correct ceramic plates for that blade. The teeth were too small and those specific blades needed wider teeth. And they also werent put back together correctly. Idk if this was fluke or what. But my blades are my livelihood as that's what I do for a living and when they aren't working correctly I can't either. He did at least refund my money.

We gave one star as Yelp will not let you submit a review with zero stars. Our experience is zero…read morestars. This is the worst company imaginable. It is so bad it feels like a scam towards manipulating consumers. On April 20 a repairman came to our house as our freezer stopped working. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable.....and diagnosed the problem. We were asked to pay $500.00 for the part which seemed reasonable and he scheduled to be back in 1 week on the 27th (which is a Monday). On Friday the 24th we received a call stating the part was lost in transit and they would reschedule. This is the last communication we have had about our service and it has been two full weeks since the cancellation, three since the visit. The number you can call for help is actually a call center somewhere in Texas......and they have no way to resolve any issues or provide any information as Mr Appliance of Western Ohio is a franchise. Each time you call they try and contact the local office (and get no response) and then promise to escalate the issue to the escalation department who will call back the same day. We have called every business day since April 27 (10 business days now) and heard the same speech and never once gotten a phone call back or any information regarding the part or service. We have requested a refund numerous times as we have already resolved the freezer problem---and of course they have to contact the local office and the escalation department will handle it......which truly feels like a way just to get us off the phone.....as it never happens. We even believed it fair for them to deduct a diagnostic fee for the tech coming to our home.....and offered this reasonable resolution. We requested a tracking number for the part the day they cancelled the appointment which they could not provide. Mr Appliance is owned by Neighborly which has a very detailed program on how you can become a franchise owner---and then they distance themselves from any accountability as we called Neighborly and of course it is another call center. I wish we had read all the reviews prior to calling Mr Appliance. It has been 2 full weeks since our appointment was cancelled and we have not received one update. I do not think we will ever get our money back and the only recourse we have is to warn as many people as possible not to call Mr Appliance. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
