Second time we painted two cereal bowls. I'm also working on my hubby's custom shadow box for his retirement. That will take a while and is costly because it's a custom order but I'm happy that so much can get done in one place. There's painting, ceramic, engraving, framing, as well as ticketing office for our military discounted special tickets. You can also buy little trinkets like decorations and I even saw a local honey being sold there. If you are on base or have an access, you should check it out.

Unfortunately, the checkout experience completely ruined this visit. There were only self-checkout registers open and just one employee assisting customers. When one of the registers double-scanned an item, I needed help to fix it. It took nearly 20 minutes to get assistance because the single employee was overwhelmed helping multiple people. I understand staffing challenges happen, but waiting that long just to fix a scanning error is frustrating and unacceptable. If the store is going to rely primarily on self-checkout, there needs to be adequate staff available to assist customers quickly when issues come up. Great products, but the checkout process seriously needs improvement.
