There was a 50% off promotion on activewear sweatpants, which was a big reason we browsed that section. The sweats were super soft and comfortable, but when I checked out, the discount did not reflect on the receipt, so definitely make sure to double check pricing before paying. While I wish there had been more variety and clearer pricing at checkout, the store had some good deals and we eventually found what we needed. Just be prepared to spend time if you're shopping for kids in that awkward growth phase and always confirm discounts before you leave the register.

But, I won't do business with people who would allow a scam (which are so prevelant) to happen within their company. Why would a company like this allow this to happen?

I found some great new items to add to my wardrobe that should transition well from pregnancy to post-pregnancy when I return (hopefully) to my typical size that will work well-enough for both. I had a great time shopping here, as always, WHBM is stylish and I love the quality of their clothing which lasts for years and years. Stylists here really try to get to know your style and make suggestions based upon favorites but also a few key items to pull you out of your comfort zone. I love how the store is color coordinated so it's easy to find things if you have certain colors in mind or favorites. I am horrible at accessorizing and Kaylene was right by the cashier area where the accessories were so I asked her for help. I have been a frequent, loyal customer for over 60 years. I was fooled and lied to in order to make…read morea sale at this location. Two weeks ago I made a purchase, an supposedly got all my discounts. When I came home, and checked my online order that I had prepared, but did not process. The three items I bought came to being $20.00 cheaper. Therefore, I returned the items I bought in store, and on line through the store, and processed my own on line order. Yesterday, I went to this LB, and bought approximately 12 items, 7, in store, and 5 on line. I asked the salesperson if I would get the same discounts as I saw on line, and I showed her the order on line with same items, and she said not only do they offer online savings, but I will get additional in-store savings. Two items were non-refundable, but she told me because customers order on line with them in store, and items cannot be tried on, they would not refund, but would offer n in store credit. Therefore, I agreed to do everything in store. The total for inshore and on line through store came to $412, and did not include a brown Henley I wanted. When I came home, and I was going to delete the online order before I processed, I looked and for the same items including the extra Henley came to $332. That is a savings of $80 cheaper, with an additional item. I processed the order, and plan on returning everything I bought in store or ordered on line through store, but I would like refund on the non-refundable items, since I bought them on line myself, and they were sold to me under false circumstances.

(I am so OCD, I clasped and hug every bra back on hangers) They did not have the size for the style that I wanted in house, but I was able to take a picture of the tag and order it online. This time I finally did, actually tried things on, and was surprised by how much worked. The store is light, bright, ultra feminine, and leans modest with soft fabrics and thoughtful details. It definitely skews younger, probably teens into early twenties, but that doesn't mean you can't find pieces that work if you know how to edit. I'm not typically a frilly girl, but I still found items that made me look fresher and more put together instead of older. It feels like a more approachable version of LoveShackFancy, without that moment where you look at the price tag and immediately put everything back. And that's refreshing. What's frustrating is how many department stores and women's brands seem to design for a much older customer. You walk in and everything feels like it's trying to age you before your time. Even brands like Veronica Beard, and sometimes Zimmermann, can add years instead of taking them away. Altar'd State does the opposite. The pieces feel light, easy, and uplifting. There's a sense of joy in the clothing that's hard to find right now. I want to bring my 82-year-old mother here so she can find clothing that adds joy to her life and doesn't age her.
