A woman came into my place of business with a cute sparkly top so I asked her where she got it, and she told me about Du Berrys. My friend and I love everything that is sparkly. My friend came to visit last weekend so we made sure to stop at Du Berry's. We opened the front door and both of us literally stopped in our tracks and said OMG!! I could have bought something from every display in the store. All staff that we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. We went on a Saturday, so there was live entertainment on the stage. Dubarry's is an iconic store that has icons that have come to it. I know the store owner personally. She's there on a daily basis rendering great service. Dubarry's has an eclectic array of beautiful items for women and men. Ranging from pageant crowns, sequence dresses to an endless supply of earrings and necklaces. Everything is so beautiful. The owner even told me Michael Jackson and Beyoncé shopped at DuBarry's and their security closed down the store. It was the end of a long day for me and I was in a lot of pain from spine injury. I HAVE to go back when I'm not so rushed. Bling, bling and more bling. Kind of a combination of charming Charlie's, Claire's and the fantastic swap meet ladies I used to haggle with over sets all the time. I was in and out fairly quickly but noticed they had a wide variety of items from inexpensive stud earrings to massive necklaces you could see from a mile away. They also have make up and I think some clothing but I was on a hunt for something very specific so didn't look that much I have a love hate relationship with the lighting. The store is actually fairly dim with spotlights on the bling to make it glow... but I wanted to walk outside and see what things really looked like.. don't think that would have gone over well! My co-workers told me about this store after seeing the accessories I wore and asked if I had gotten them there. She told me all about the beautiful reasonably prices things they had and thought I'd rally like their stuff. I figured I'd save it for a day I was off since it was a 40 min drive from my house. I planned to make it a special treat for my 6 year old daughter and myself after school so we were both looking forward to it. When we pulled up to the store, they have a beautiful store front and as we approached the front door my lil one saw all the beautiful things that were on display and immediately got excited. We walked in and was greeted by a sales person who wouldn't allow us to look around the store on our own. We picked out a few accessories for my lil one for picture day and left them at the counter so we could look around some more. This woman WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO LOOK WITHOUT HER BEING RIGHT ON TOP OF US GIVING HER SUGGESTIONS ON THE ITEMS I SHOULD BUY!!!
