We have been able to meet in person when necessary but also over zoom in between those type of needed appointments. They've been great about staying on top of my medication and I never have a long wait time to see the doctor. The building is a little older but kept a very clean. I would highly recommend this naturopath and I have to friends and family. Dr Vickers offers a very compassionate type of care and is willing to work with me with my health concerns without judgement.

Not once did anyone test me for ANA or screen me for autoimmune disease, even though my symptoms clearly pointed in that direction. The worst decision was a hysterectomy, which I now know triggered a major lupus flare -- a condition I was never tested for and am still battling today. My health collapsed because the underlying cause was ignored. Synergy dismissed my symptoms, blamed hormones or stress, and never considered lupus, even though a simple blood test could have changed the entire trajectory of my health. I've had a full physical exam, including bloodwork (which was taken easily on two different occasions by the on staff phlebotomist), and gyno exams that in themselves are always unpleasant, but were made as comfortable as possible (nice robes, calm lighting, and explanations of things before they occurred). Appointments were always easy to make and billing was explained thoroughly. I recommend her to all of my friends! PS! I recommend looking at the other good reviews that yelp has hidden in regards to Dr. Carpenter's medical care. This bad review seems to only deal with billing, which isn't the defining characteristic of a good doctor.

I couldn't have made it through my pregnancy without her level headed and comforting manner. Since I was relatively new to the area, I didn't have a good primary doctor or specialist needed for two issues that came up during the pregnancy and she managed to refer me to two great providers one of whose practice was closed. Delivery wasn't the easiest either and the compassion that Dr. Suzuki displayed was amazing and wish she had been my ob/gyn for my older daughter's birth as well. I had originally decided to start seeing Dr. Suzuki based on recommendation on the Urbanmamas website. It was only after I switched to her did I learn that one of our good family friends who is a nurse had her as her doctor as well since Dr. Suzuki was highly recommended with fellow nurses. I told her I had never needed one before, had something changed. She said "no". I told her I would call my insurance company to find out what was going on. they told me I absolutely did not need a referral and sent me an email with that information. When I call back Dr. McNally's office I was given to a supervisor who was extremely rude and didn't understand and wouldn't listen to my question. I don't know what she said to Dr. McNally but then I got a message from Dr. McNally saying she didn't want to have Medicare patients anyway and I should find another doctor. I didn't realize money meant so much to people but I guess it does. I also did not know being on Medicare doctors had to take less money so I do understand but the rudeness was heartbreaking and I'm terribly upset. Just not worth the hurt.
