We are only in Sedona once a year (conference in Phoenix) and this year has been particularly difficult so we booked massages as a special treat for ourselves. After my partner came out from his 90 minute massage, he told me that whatever best message he'd had up to this time, Alexander had been at least twice as good. "He's a magician," my partner said. I prefer less firm massages and went with Anne for 60 minutes. I was so relaxed that I think I actually fell asleep! We both really liked that they used hot compresses/towels on our feet and backs, and put eye pillows on us when we faced up - we haven't had this before in massages. Also, I had asked for scent-free, and it truly was completely scent free! Loved our massages - I wish I could convey just how wonderful our experience was. Thank you Anne and Alexander! Should've done my review much earlier. A few months ago my wife and scheduled a couples massage at her studio. The massage was fantastic. I never had to ask for an adjustment on pressure, and in fact the massage put me to sleep. Extremely relaxing. My wife got a trigger point release type of massage, which isn't really meant to put a person to sleep like me, but it hit all the trigger points and she felt like a million bucks after her massage as well. Wow. Just wow. Hands down the best massage I have EVER had. I myself own and operate a mobile massage company in California with 14 years of experience, and I was absolutely stunned by this incredible gift of a massage from Nica. I decided on Anne's Hands because the massages I was getting in LA were very harsh nor intuitive or relaxing; even though my muscles felt more loose, I was always sore after the session. I decided to go with this private business thinking it was going to be what I wanted. And it absolutely was! Unfortunately I couldn't book a floor session with Anne, but I ended up doing a table session with Nica. Honestly, it was the best massage I've ever had. She was incredibly intuitive and her hands were firm but gentle. I realized that I can have an amazing and relaxing massage without having to be kneaded like dough and feel painful. The variety of modalities and techniques she used were also impressive- and nothing I have seen or felt before in other massage sessions. I get massages very regularly (1-2x a month for the past 20 years at least) and consider them to be a regular necessity for self care. With that said, I was in town for a few days with my sister and wanted to treat her (and myself) to massages. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to message Anne and set up 2 massages at our Airbnb during our stay. She was very responsive and scheduling went smoothly. Beth was our massage therapist and she was absolutely amazing!!! She has a very pleasant and friendly demeanor to start off. My wife and I stayed at an Airbnb in Sedona to celebrate our 25th anniversary in December. It has been a difficult year for us, my wife especially, after having two hip replacements during a three month period. We needed a time to rest and recover so we hired Anne's Hands to come to the Airbnb to give each of us a massage. My wife's body and muscles were very stressed from 3 1/2 years of being disabled and using crutches and walker's to get around. When Anne showed up she had a very peaceful, gentle and calming spirit.
