Despite this, I was required to pay for another office visit. I do not consider this fair or ethical. I expected the clinic to take responsibility for a treatment that did not achieve the intended result and to show greater consideration for its patients. I have been a patient of this clinic for several years, but after this experience, I have decided not to return. Depending on who you speak with, it can feel like getting help is an inconvenience rather than part of the patient experience. Communication and follow-up have also been unreliable at times, which can be frustrating when you're trying to schedule appointments or follow through on your doctor's recommendations. The quality of care from the physicians is the reason I'm giving a positive review overall, but I hope the office takes a closer look at the front desk experience because it does not reflect the level of professionalism provided by the doctors.

Dr. Thosani is not only beautiful on the outside, but even more so on the inside. She has an incredible bedside manner, takes her time to thoroughly explain everything, and makes sure you understand the "why" behind the treatment plan. I was especially impressed when I needed staples in my head. I was hesitant at first, but she carefully explained why staples would be better than stitches in my case. She even drew out a diagram to show how staples would allow for better healing and hair growth compared to sutures. That level of care and attention truly went above and beyond. Everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming. The entire staff made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Her medical assistant, Gio, was absolutely fabulous as well. Dr. Thosani is knowledgeable, skilled, serious when she needs to be, yet warm and even funny -- she made the entire experience much easier than I expected. As someone who works in the medical field, I know how rare it is to find a provider who combines exceptional skill, genuine compassion, and true passion for what they do. My first impression is that Modern Dermatology does not trust that I will come to my appointments. Here is part of their no show policy. The following is our No-Call / No-Show policy: * Non-surgical patients who fail to call or show will be charged a $50 fee. * Aesthetic patients who fail to call or show will be charged a $100 fee. * CO2 Laser patients who fail to call or show will be charged a $150 fee. * Surgical patients who fail to call or show will be charged a $200 fee. * Mohs procedural patients who fail to call or show will be charged a $200 fee. * If a third failure to call or show occurs, the patient may be dismissed from MODERN Dermatology. * This "no-show charge" is not reimbursable by your insurance company.
