I don't see Dr. Price anymore (not my choice - she's just out there being a boss in medical and cosmetic dermatology), but I've been seeing Kimberly and wow... she's amazing. She's helped me with everything from routine skin checks to random skin surprises, and her bedside manner is top-tier. Seriously, if you've ever had to strip down in front of a near stranger, you know it can be awkward - Kimberly makes it feel like no big deal. She gives super practical skin care advice, nails her diagnoses every time, and manages to make dermatology way less intimidating than it should be. Shoutout to the rest of the SkinScience staff too! All the ladies are super friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The facilities are beautiful, the people here are so lovely, and you can tell that they really take pride in providing you with top care. I was very disappointed with Dr. Price's office. I had been a patient for over a year and felt quite satisfied. Generally good office service although a bit annoyingly persistent regarding app't reminders. My last appointment was to be a short follow up . After 1/2 hour in the waiting room, I inquired. The staff, who was very busy arranging their delivered lunches, informed me that they didn't have a room for me. No idea how much longer, or any sempelence of an apology . Went here to be seen for acne that I've been battling on and off over the years. Karla was amazing and so was her assistant. She actually listened, I let her know what I had been seeing improvement with in my existing routine but I'm trying to completely resolve the issue. Hence why I decided to try Skin Science as I haven't accomplished this yet with other doctors and dermatologists. Karla took what is working in my routine and helped with providing me with additional things I can add to my routine to help. She also educated me on how to use certain things effectively so that I don't cause adverse effects. This is definitely the best experience that I've had with a dermatologist and look forward to continuing the treatment plan and follow up visits with them. I hadn't been to the dermatologist since high school so I figured that it was time to go again, now that I'm in my 30s! I really wanted to get on an anti-aging regimen. The office itself is very clean and modern, and they were practicing great Covid-19 precautions by having patients wait for their appointment in a detached empty office with plenty of spacing. You can even fill out their forms from your phone! I didn't have to wait long at all! Dr. Price was super friendly and did an overall check for skin cancer, etc. I mentioned getting on an anti-aging regimen and she prescribed a cream that they mix there. When I got to the front, it was definitely more expensive than I had thought! I want to say $175? But can't totally remember. I also asked if it was ok to use during pregnancy (I'm not pregnant but mentioned trying to get pregnant on my forms). Well, the answer is no. This tells me that they didn't read my forms (and also my bad for not asking in the appointment) but I definitely didn't want to spend that much on the cream if I wasn't able to use it to its full potential. I was so bummed because at that point, the doctor had moved on and the checkout gal definitely didn't have any guidance on where to go from there. Appointment basically wasted! But Kaylee, one of their aestheticians came to the rescue! She pointed out products by other brands that they sell that are pregnancy friendly. She was so helpful in explaining how the routine works. I honestly had NO idea when to apply serums, moisturizers, etc. She even wrote it down for me, so grateful! I ended spending a little over $200 on some safe products that she recommended. (5 star experience for her - she didn't have to do that!) I was also interested in getting a facial but they are over $300 and that is pretty crazy high compared to other businesses with great reputations in the Valley. Especially if they're something that you want to maintain regularly. All in all, I think this is a pretty pricey spot to come for a basic dermatology appointment. I didn't learn much about my skin itself (i.e. oily, how to handle bumps on my forehead, etc.) and I don't think that I'll be coming back. Oh well! read more

I've never had a good experience here. They have cancelled on me with poor communication and no notice, they didn't make it easy to reschedule, it was IMPOSSIBLY DIFFICULT to get my results from a biopsy they took, so I had to wonder if I had cancer meanwhile they were busy billing me for things they didn't even know what they were for. Then I had a suspicious mole pop up and they would not see me. Good riddance, this is the worst dermatologist office ever. read more

Didn't hear a word until I finally got a voice mail on 2/7/24 saying that this office didn't respond to my review because they were unable to find me in their schedule even tho my review gave them the date and time of my appointment. I returned the call on 2/8/24 explaining that I used my first name on the appointment for insurance purposes and my review was posted under my given name of Sue M. Dr. Price spoke to me and apologized , after giving me her long explanation for being so late. I accepted her apology and told her that the key to my dissatisfaction with my long wait would have been communication from her and her staff. I thanked her and said "goodbye." My wife and I have many pleasant visits with Dr. Price and staff. Dr. Price not only excels in her craft, but gives the warmth and care missing in many cold medical environments. She was assisted by Fonda this morning during a skin biopsy, that required a local anesthetic by a toenail. Fonda was able to make the injection nearly painless. Dr.Price made the rest of the procedure similar to a mother's loving care of a child with a scratch from a minor fall. I was told by one of their aestheticians during one of my $600 procedures that they offered free consultations so that my son could have his face looked at to determine what we needed to do to get him on the right track. I was told to call the front desk and schedule the appointment, I did that and after the appointment was charged $155. I tried explaining to them that I thought I was receiving a free consultation but they did not care. So they would rather lose two customers than forgo the $155 fee. I tried reaching out to them twice via email to give them the chance to make things right prior to leaving this review, even telling them that I was going to leave a review on several sites, they have never even responded to me whatsoever. Today August 27th was my in-office surgery to remove a minor cyst. All my worries were put at ease. First by Ms Fonda. She was awesome!! She took the time to explain what exactly was going to take place, while answering all my questions. I was surprised to also receive such a warm welcome from the Doctor herself, Dr. Cynthia Price. Such a lovely person. She added confidence that I was in good hands. She saw how nervous I was and gave me time to take everything in while assuring me that they would take good care of me. I, the scared one, was saying "Oh wow, it looks so good!" The office is beautiful and parking easy. Lots of staff around... there has always been a little wait. I've never seen the MD but the M.A. is great. There is a part across from the clinic for spa/beauty procedures but we were never referred there. My son was seen for acne. Evals were quick and plan laid out and explained clearly. My only issues have been with getting meds filled timely and getting through to a real person when we called. My son has had two gaps in treatment because of delays in getting his labs reviewed (accutane requires monthly liver testing for safety) and med refilled. He got his labs done on a Wednesday and since we heard nothing I called on a Monday to find out when his RX would be sent. I called at 8:10 am but was told the doctor couldn't review until Tuesday afternoon. Hearing nothing I called back and left a message again. He didn't get his refill until Friday. The bills are also high. I have Cigna and each visit has cost $150 out of pocket with the medication itself costing about that. The lab costs $22 each month so total treatment per month costs about $322. read more
