Annie worked with us for 8 months, we negotiated and went under backup or contract 5 times. In that process, I met a lot of other agents. There were certainly a few I was impressed with, but there were also a large number of whom just didn't stack up. I just concluded working with Annie on selling my home. Annie was easy to work with. What I liked the best was that, in some areas I wanted to go in a different direction than her suggestions. She was very willing to work with me so I was an active part of the process. But there were some areas where she interjected with her years of experience and wanted to be sure that I looked at the issue from several directions. In my lifetime I have been involved with six real estate transactions and, in each case, was fortunate to work with a knowledgeable, honest and effective agent. But, until recently, I never considered using a buyer's agent. Annie was buyer's agent for me this summer, helping me buy the house of my dreams on the island of Monhegan. It was a long process, including two times when the house went under contract to other buyers who then backed out. I live out of state and found that Annie was very well-versed in local and state real estate and zoning issues and was able to provide me with contacts for everything I needed. Annie not only knows a lot about real estate, she also knows a lot about people! She was able to help me consider the property and my purchase of it from all angles. It was a big decision for me and I really appreciated having someone who could help me look at all sides. She never tried to push me into making decisions before I was ready but she never let me get discouraged, either. Tried to sell me houses and had no clue as to the conditions of any of the houses she was showing. Also rented her downstairs apt to me for a month. The windows were so poorly installed, the bugs were coming in fast and furious. The shower was in the kitchen next to the sink.The noise and stomping from the activity from her upstairs living quarters was unbelievable. The weeds were so high, I was unable to walk outside. So I bought 12 Prescott St off of her and Ryan Lawrence. It was a duel agent she represented me and the seller. BIG MISTAKE. Knowing I was a first time home buyer I think she took advantage of me. Almost none of the contingencies were done. Just 1 example He put in a gutter 5' section. And didn't even complete it. Did not lead the water away from the foundation. When I kept asking her what was going on. All I got was "I don't know Ryan usually does it." The building inspector she recommended was bad. He did not list a 20' shift in the foundation which has me just about bankrupt. 20,000$+ fix in the first 9 days of closing. The lawyer she recommended jim brannan also a duel lawyer BIG MISTAKE. He decided not to tell me about contract law which would of enabled me to get out of the house without costing me my retirement and life savings. Everyone I paid to help me was really working for the seller. Annie did not have my best interests at heart. She wanted that double commission. The house I bought was a big fraud so many problems covered up and not put on the disclosure. Buyer beware with her. read more

Stay away from this one.....doesn't have a clue about properties. Bought a house through her and does nothing but ride around with you. Do NOT take her recommendations on contractors. Put me in with an absolute crook that ended in lawsuit. I'm sure she gets a kickback on everything she touches..... read more
