We arrived at the office late morning as instructed to give her final payment and were greeted with a "You're early. Check in is at 3pm." We knew that and introduced ourselves. They seemed extremely busy and no time for basic instructions. We arrived at the cottage at 3pm and found the place (3 bedroom/2 full baths, full kitchen, big deck) in a great location, private with partial views of the Pemaquid lighthouse and ocean. WiFi (20 mbps), very small cable TV, landline telephone. AT&T not very good in this region. Bring your own sheets and towels. The cottage was not very clean. Left over toothpaste on the holder, sinks rinsed but not all that clean, tape on screens, holes in the furniture, floors neglected and a musty smell. Advertised as immaculate with new furnishings but that is far from accurate. Our stay was pleasant and we were comfortable. It was better than camping but expected more for $1800/week. Next year we'll look for a months rent in the area but need to find a tidier place. Maine Mid-Coast is amazing! Great restaurants and plenty of scenery to enjoy.

Before this rental, we stayed at Cindy's Cottage for 11 years. Again, the cottage was immaculate, and any minor concerns over the years were immediately addressed by Sheila. (example: the coffee maker was broken, we called and asked if we could replace it. Sheila said yes, and we were reimbursed.) My husband and I always rent from LDEWEY Chase, not just for the location of their rentals, which is extraordinary, but for the immediate and thoughtful service from Sheila!

I could not have been happier or more impressed with the results! I watched the entire process and I was amazed by the entire team. They worked like a finely tuned machine and there was very little conversation between them members and judging by how well they worked in sync they didn't need much. Apparently each team member had a specific skill set but every team member jumped in when needed to work as efficiently as possible. We offered Sam a bonus/tip for the work done and he declined saying that he did what we discussed. We fe that he and his team went above and beyond what was expected. we asked him if it was ok to offer his team a bonus.
