From the date we booked (nearly a year in advance), to the actual event, Keith and Mary were always open to our questions, ideas and suggestions for a successful reception. Keith really helped us with the planning using his years of experience with hosting weddings here that just made everything so much better!!! We originally wanted to have the appetizers just outside the conservatory but the day before when we saw how hot it would be he quickly pivoted to host the appetizers in the beautiful barn with a lovely breeze and outdoor lighting. WOW. This is only one of many inspirations. The conservatory was full of beautiful greenery and blooming flowers and the colors just popped. All our guests were sooo impressed and it was just an amazing time. Keith and Mary were very communicative which is so important to a successful event. Another positive is that the main level of the renovated barn is easily accessible for family members with mobility issues. Although the loft is only accessible by stairs, it was ideal to set up the arts and crafts area as well as the Selfie Station. Large kitchen for serving buffet style meals. Access to a large refrigerator and a freezer chest. Wonderful outdoor space for cornhole tournament and water games. The children had a blast just running around and playing with stomp rockets. There is a "quiet room" available in the event a little one requires down time. Large, clean handicap accessible restrooms. Parking was plentiful. If you are doing a presentation, it is helpful to know in advance that Wifi is unavailable. We knew this and our presenter simply downloaded the ancestry presentation on his laptop hard drive. We do not consider the lack of Wifi to be a negative issue since none of the other venues we explored had it either. Reasonably priced for a large venue.
