She is detail oriented, professional, personable, authentic and has a wonderful personality. People kept telling me before the wedding that things will go wrong on the day of your wedding but Megan was not going to let that happen for the ceremony. When I arrived at the venue Megan had pulled me aside with concerns around the ceremony stage as our flowers were placed with little room left for my wedding dress train. She took control, consulted a friend and already had a solution in place to moved the arrangements around *THIS is what going above and beyond looks like and it doesn't stop there. The florist was waiting for the rest of the wedding party to arrive so they could place the boutonnieres and hand out the corsages but Megan could sense the florist was a bit overwhelmed and jumped right in taking charge letting the florist know it would be no hassle at all for her to take the flowers and pass out/pin herself. During our family portraits Megan had found my husband and I to deliver us our specialty cocktails (which were much needed at this point haha). There are so many other small details I am missing from the phone meetings, vow review beforehand, handling our very loud wedding party during rehearsal and before the wedding ceremony. As for the most important part of the day... the ceremony. The words she read really hit home when you are standing up there ready to say I do and she spoke with such grace it was absolutely beautiful. We had our main wedding ceremony out of state but mistakenly realized that we needed our marriage license completed by an officiant registered in state, and the courthouse ceremony process is time consuming (requiring an in person appearance to even make the appt, and then only offering times that are during a typical workday to conduct these ceremonies). Megan was able to perform our ceremony very efficiently knowing that we did not want a lengthy process (and were already wedded). We completed the entire condensed ceremony and papers hassle-free and in one sitting. She charges a really competitive price as well (the best I found after inquiring multiple officiants on Yelp). He was so sweet, even Took a few pictures for us. We had such a great time. Decided we wanted two extra hours. Called Michelle in the office and she arranged it with no problem . Transparent pricing and great customer service are what we instantly received and Diana was always willing to answer questions as they arose. I wanted a mashup dance with my dad and another DJ told me that providing this service would require studio time and a sound engineer. When I informed Diana of my request, she put me in touch with another DJ and he created my first dance at no charge. He even made a last minute adjustment the week before my wedding. DJ Danny was AMAZING. He cared about getting to know my husband and I, understanding our backstory and how to correctly pronounce the names of our family members. The Monday before our wedding, we went over the reception timeline and he ensured us that he would try our best to keep us on schedule. He has a background in the music industry and he really cared about the needs of my husband and I on the best day of our lives. When the reception rolled around, DJ Danny made sure he found us 15 minutes before any major event (cake cutting, first dance) to give us ample time to be ready. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night and played every song that we wanted to hear. I would highly recommend this company. Diana was highly attentive throughout the planning process, and provided helpful guidelines on how to think about structure for the ceremony & reception. She connected us to an uplighting vendor and was understanding when an event reschedule couldn't be avoided. DJ Dave did a great job as well, the ceremony and reception went smoothly, and he kept everyone dancing throughout an extended reception. I appreciated that he got little details right in pronouncing names and that he worked with us to keep the event running smoothly (especially when we needed an extra 5min to eat!). I truly hate having to leave a negative review, especially when it involves such a personal and…read moremeaningful day -- our wedding. But I feel it's important to share our experience so other couples can go into their planning process informed. We hired Platinum Photography with the expectation -- and contractual agreement -- that we would receive retouched digital images, a custom wooden USB, and a physical 8x10 album. Unfortunately, the process from start to finish was filled with delays, broken promises, and poor communication. What followed was a frustrating string of extended deadlines, vague updates, and inconsistent messaging. The USB was only ordered months after the wedding -- after we followed up repeatedly -- and the album was denied, then later reluctantly agreed to after I pushed back and quoted the actual contract. The editing was also incomplete, with clear inconsistencies in the photos we received, and promises made about corrections (such as under-eye editing) were not fulfilled until pointed out directly. At one point, I was even offered a partial refund on the condition that I remove my review and forfeit the remaining items -- an incredibly unprofessional request. I was also wrongly accused of breaching the contract for making light personal edits to a few photos, despite the contract allowing for personal use (albums, scrapbooks, gifts, etc.). It's not that the photographer was rude or mean -- they were always polite. But it felt like a constant bait-and-switch, with excuse after excuse and very little accountability. As a busy mom of two, I simply didn't have the time or energy to chase down what should have been handled with care and professionalism. After months of back and forth, the album and USB are finally in progress, but I would never recommend this experience to another bride. Your wedding memories deserve more than constant follow-up, shifting stories, and delayed promises. Do your research, get everything in writing, and don't be afraid to advocate for yourself.

Since the moment we contacted Vell's through the days after our event, this venue did everything they possibly could to accommodate us. They worked with us on dates, they gave us so many menu options, they kept us up-to-date of all the restrictions going on in the state (we were planning from states away.) We changed a few things on them and they could not have been nicer about it. The food was amazing and the venue was beautiful. All our guests had everything they needed and everything went off without a hitch. Not only was it an amazing and beautiful event but it was also very affordable. We told them our budget and guest list and they gave us an option that worked for us. Also, everything was super clean and we have had no problems with the virus since our event.
