I had gained and lost some weight so I got a larger size and the way it fit was just not working plus the layers of fabric made me sweat I went to this seamstress after seeing the reviews online. I worked with Rosa. There was a little bit of a language barrier, and I wouldn't say she's the most jovial person b/c of the communication barrier, but she is extremely skilled at what she does so I was able to explain what I needed done, and she worked wonders. She removed layers of fabric making it lighter, but also more breathable. With one fitting she tailored it perfectly to my body. I almost couldn't believe it. I ended up taking it home and then realizing that I needed a little more security around the bust area. I brought it back, she did it and didn't charge me. She also adjusted the slit because it was a little too high for me. Overall, I would absolutely recommend going here. She's professional and extremely skilled, and that is what matters most.

When I finally got them she was confused why I was there, and after I took the pants to another tailor I realized she had actually stolen a pair of my slacks. Long version: I called a few places looking for a tailor to repair holes in the crotches of my jeans and a pair of dress pants. One pair of jeans needed to be hemmed. I wanted to make sure that she was actually there for me to drop them off, so I had to call her three times before she picked up. When she finally did pick up, she was practically yelling over me the entire time, to the point where I couldn't even explain why I was calling. Nonetheless, because she was so close, I figured I would risk it. I dropped off the pants that afternoon, explained everything to her, and she said she would get to it next week. I told her she could take as much as two weeks but after that I would need them. So a week goes by, I give her a call, again she's belligerent and angry for the simple fact that I guess she had to pick up the phone. What should be a two-minute phone call turns into nearly 10 minutes while she's giving me excuses as to why she has not even begun work on my pants. So I ask her if she needs another week, she eventually says yes, and I thought that was it. Two more weeks go by, I give her another call because clearly she hasn't called me. Again, she's confused and angry as to why I'm calling because I guess everybody just walks in on her? Anyways, again she has not done the work, again she's making all sorts of excuses as to being busy with other work, and I asked her how that was my problem. No response. More arguing. She tells me she can do it again by the end of the week or next week. I say okay, and hang up. Two more weeks go by because I'm busy with work and whatnot, and then I remember that I still have pants at the tailors. I give her yet another call, of course she picks up angry and confused, and she tells me that she can't have it, you guessed it, until next week because she's busy. I tell her that's absolutely ridiculous, she doesn't seem fazed. I tell her that that's absolutely unacceptable and reiterate all the things that she said to me, and how I'm supposed to have these pants 4 weeks ago. Again, all she does is argue, so I decided right there I was just going to go and pick them up. When I arrived that afternoon, she seemed surprised to see me, and I did all I could to not scream profanities at this woman. I felt like I was trying to get a mule to do calculus. Regardless I get my bag of pants, and I turn to leave, and then she asked me to sign some paper just in case "someone comes to pick them up". What? Who is going to pick up my pants except me? Furthermore, who even knows these are here after almost 6 weeks? I smiled, told her she had wasted enough of my time, and left while she was still muttering about signing the paper. A couple 3 days later I took them to a much better tailor closer to my work, and came to find out that she had stolen a pair of my pants. So I cannot speak about her craftsmanship, because after almost 6 weeks I had no evidence of it. I can tell you that this is about the worst customer service I have ever received from anyone, anywhere. She charges relatively inexpensive prices, but apparently won't work on anything that isn't going to be a more expensive job. I think it's time to hang up your sewing machine grandma. I'd like all the time you wasted of mine back.

The shop is extremely small and tight, but the ladies here do a good job. At times, their vibe could be interpreted as unfriendly, especially if you've never interacted with them, but don't take their curtness for rudeness. In no way does it look like their intention to be unfriendly, but it's just the way they operate - quick and to the point. In addition, they don't speak fluent English, so sometimes things can get lost in translation. If you DO need any type of alterations or clothing fixes, all you have to do is walk in, present to them what you need done and they'll take a look at it on the spot and let you know if it can or cannot be done. If whatever you need can be done, they'll fill out a receipt for you with the date you came in, what the work is and how much it might cost. When your clothing is ready, they'll give you a call and you can come in to pick it up. It's that easy or at least those were the experiences I had and each time was a replica of the previous. In addition, the pricing for their work was very reasonable as I called up a few tailoring shops for a quote and Sanita's always came out as the lowest or equivalent.

What makes this place stand out is that on one occasion we brought in our duvet cover to be cleaned and they told us it doesn't have to be dry cleaned, and even said the cost wasn't necessarily worth it unless you like how the duvet feels after dry cleaning (it feels a little different if it's machine-washed). My wife and I were so impressed by their honesty. They could easily pocketed the money to have our cover cleaned, but instead offered an alternative that was of no immediate benefit to them. THAT's how you build a long-term business.
