Soooo disappointed with my pedicure and nail service. New and shiny does not equate to care, friendliness, or professionalism. No smiles, no personalization, no hellos, no thank yous. . Sloppy and perfunctory pedicure and nails so thick, they look like slabs. It felt like an assembly line, not a place to be pampered. I loved the old Annie's when there really was an Annie to make sure everyone had a great experience. And I hate the constant side talk among the technicians. Won't be back. read more

I had my nails done a few weeks ago and had a GREAT experience. The red nails is what I walked in with !! This time I was treated absolutely horrible. The guy who did my toenails rushed through and cut me MULTIPLE TIMES, and the nails aren't painted all the way. I came in for a fill and a pedicure. The guy who did the fill completely ruined the shape of my nails. Every nail was a different shape and length, and when all I wanted was them to be SHARPER. After putting the gel on, I was completely unsatisfied with my nails and asked him to remove them to which clearly he was angry, and stopped working on me completely. The girl who soaked off my nails left me with so much acrylic on my natural nails I can still feel it, and completely cut my natural nails underneath. I understand how soak offs work, but clearly they were just trying to rush and gave no regard to the work being done so she chopped off my natural nails. THEY STILL CHARGED ME $51. When I asked to speak with a manager, he tried to tell me that this was normal to ruin ur nails after just coming in for a fill and offered a refund for $5, or to get a full new set if have to pay for when I came in FOR A FILL. Why would I let you work on my nails after cutting me multiple times and ruining my natural nails ?? I walked out and I will be disputing this charge with my bank. Hey everyone, I hope this review finds you all in good spirits. About two weeks ago, I took my sisters to get pedicures. We chose Annie's after hearing much about them years ago and to my surprise the service was few far and between. My pregnant sister received the worst service, and I was hoping to relax her a bit. The tech was clearly agitated and did not have a clue how to do chrome paint. My sisters toes were burning and when she would express that the tech just would not listen, making me have to speak on her behalf in order for her to spray the alcohol on her toes. I had a great tech named Kim. She was very good and patient. It was actually the best pedicure I had ever had, but when it came to pricing is when I felt scammed. I was charged $239 for three pedicures priced at $45 each. When asked why so much, they tried to explain but it still made no sense. I value integrity and when you show me that you lack integrity as a business I post a review and I take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, Annie's will never receive my business again. There are other salons in this town and also other places that offer cheaper prices and a great customer experience Im sure. In Iowa I was offered refreshments at least. Many businesses nowadays expect you to patronize them as a default but you have to offer great service in order to receive my hard earned finances. Peace read more

tried telling me I had to cut off all my natural nails and put on fake tips, and order to do an ombre overlay. Charge me $65 for some thing that should've charged me $45 but tried charging me $85. I won't be back to this place is a joke they charge you whatever they wanna charge you and they try to get you to pay extra for stuff that's not needed. I am in town visiting and went to this salon. It was not clean and def needs to be updated. I was very disappointed. I tried to let the technician service me but the conditions were more than i could handle. The wrist supports were worn and ripped. I thought it would be okay if she just gave me a towel to cover the ripped leather but the towel she brought was stained and dirty. I understand polish can get on the towels but the place was not trying to hide the filth. I would not recommend. I will say that someone asked me why i changed my mind so at least he cared. I told him it was not clean so i hope he takes that criticism and will make the necessary changes. The customers deserve better. read more

I went in to get my nails done. I had an appointment at 1230. They didnt take me to the seat until 1. Then who I believe is the owner got up multiple times to wax people's eyebrows and left me sitting at the table. She then handed me off to someone else. He did a pretty good job. But as I was leaving I noticed my nails were streaky and uneven and had holes in them. And all I got was a simple tan color with a sparkly accent nail. I'm in cosmetology school and the way they do nails isnt up to the standards of anything I've learned. They also need to be a little more friendly and not talk rudely around customers when they can understand them. They also only accept cash tips. And they told me over the phone it was be 27 for the whole set. And when I payed it was 35. They also have a sign in there saying they arent responsible for anything if you get an infection or fungus from them. But legally they are. Know your rights. read more

Went here to get a pedi. Paid over $50 for a very rushed session. I feel like they never really care for the feet and never really pamper. In and out...fast fast fast. When your feet go in the water, there is no salts, no smell good...nothing. Just water. Went to put my shoes on and there was a dead cockroach on the floor. Total disgust. read more

The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the payment issue...I paid with my debit card and there wasn't an option to directly tip...so the only way to tip them is to use the ATM and get out minimum $20 with a 1.75 fee, 94 hope that you are carrying cash. Such a pain. Other than that I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of Kevin. I chose the mood polish that changes colors and wanted to be sure I liked the color first and he was very patient with me :) he also only took 35 mins from start to finish which is record time! My nails look amazing and I will most definitely be returning...with cash for a tip tho! :) read more

I will NEVER GO BACK HERE!!!!.....this is the 3rd time my gel manicure has peeled off my acrylic nails. They do not give the polish enough time to cure under the lights and watch out if they get busy, you will be rushed through so they can get to the next person. DO NOT go on a weekend. You are assembly-lined through the process- completely rushed. SO expensive for a manicure and pedicure combo-over 60$. The workers that we encountered were very rude- left my mom mid-pedicure, never put flip flops on her feet and then huffed and puffed when they had to fix the nail that they ruined, cut her hand during a manicure making her bleed--never apologized. Worker told me I needed to shave legs and my eyebrows weren't properly shaped so I should get them done by her. Overall, horrid customer service experience. I went to Annie's for a manicure and a pedicure for the first time in October. When the man started cutting my toenails he cut my skin on my big toe. When I looked down and I was bleeding a lot. He applied light pressure to get the bleeding to stop, but it did not stop so he just kept wiping it away as he kept going. When I went home I was looking at my toe that he also cut my nail jagged on the edge of the toe. I could not cut it with my tools. The next day I had a huge bump. I have been dealing with this ingrown toenail for months and the infection. Yesterday I had to get a full removal from a podiatrist that cost me money. I will never be going back to Annie's Nails & Spa. read more

Worst experience ever getting my nails done due to the technician! The nail tech I was assigned had rough hands and unkempt nails. He was disparaging to me for not wanting a shellac manicure. Other than that, he didn't speak to me at all except to tell me 5 times not to touch my phone while they were drying although I hadn't touched it once during the manicure. He didn't ask how I wanted them shaped and left them rough and I had to ask him to file the edges. He made weird smacking noises with his mouth throughout the manicure. Flies swarmed around me while I was getting the manicure and he didn't seem to notice. At the end he came and sprayed my nails with a spray and put the nozzle right on all my nails which was almost painful and caused the paint to bubble. And several nails chipped the next day. He mumbled something about not being able to be responsible for a regular manicure. I wanted to run out the whole time. Not sure why I had to pay $20 for this experience. Scary! read more
