After doing some research, I chose Chic Nail Lounge because it had great reviews, especially for eyebrow services. I booked an appointment for an eyebrow and lip wax. When I arrived, I explained to the technician that this was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed, that I usually get them threaded, and that I was nervous. I specifically asked for a simple clean-up--not shaping or thinning, just a light touch-up. Unfortunately, my experience did not go as expected. After completing the first eyebrow, I immediately noticed that it was much thinner than I have ever had in my life--far beyond a "clean-up." It felt like most of my eyebrow had been removed. This was really upsetting, especially since I had clearly communicated what I wanted. The lip waxing was also not done carefully. There were still noticeable hairs left behind, and the waxing itself felt very harsh. The next day, after washing my face, I noticed that I had developed two small scars on my lip area, which I believe were caused by the waxing process. To their credit, I was not charged for the eyebrow service, and I only paid for the lip wax. I do appreciate that gesture. However, I am now left waiting for my eyebrows to grow back and dealing with irritation and scarring on my lip. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience. As someone new to waxing and new to the area, I was hoping for a more careful and attentive service--especially after explaining my concerns upfront. I hope this feedback helps others who may be considering trying eyebrow waxing here for the first time.

Will definitely be my "go-to" spot while working in this area from now on as long as Richie is there!!! The polish was not the correct color I asked for. I tried telling the girl and she just ignored me. My nails look awful. The paint job is awful. My nails on one hand are shorter than the other hand. The design was horrible and looked nothing like the picture I showed them. I asked if she could paint a solid color on my nails because I was not happy. She said she would have to charge for another manicure. She painted the design nail a solid color but I declined the rest. I was not paying for another bad job. I will go elsewhere and have them fixed/redone. I will never return to this place. Not professional at all.
