Until I took them in and heard my poor little crippled dog YELP as he was apparently either being positioned or set down too hard on the grooming table. My dog never yelps, you have to really hurt him for him to react verbally because he is an Alpha dog. When the groomer brought him out to me I asked why I heard him yelp right after she carried him back there. She heard me but refused to answer my question. I paid my $10 or whatever it was and never went back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROOMER - Your dog does not deserve a groomer that cannot even be gentle with an elderly crippled up little dog! My dogs are both used to grooming and nail trims, since we have gone every 2 weeks for years for their trims wherever we live. We went back to our vet. Twice the price but they love my dogs and treat them with great care. My dog are worth paying more to keep them safe! BUYER BEWARE !!

They asked if I wanted my dogs teeth brushed and dremeled and I said no. It took them 5 hours to do my dog , and when I got there to pick her up my bill had an " essentials " charge - which is teeth brushing and dremel. I told them I did not ask for that and he removed the charge. THEN handed me a bill with a charge for " 15 extra minutes of brushing " and a " scissors charge ". I asked for my dog to be SHAVED - what were you brushing ? The air ? He claimed my dog was matted on her stomach - which she absolutely was not. She barely has any hair on her stomach to begin with. Then I asked what the scissors charge was for- he told me that is separate from a shave - and mansplained to me that clipping them with shavers and using scissors are two different things. I asked and PAID for my dog to be groomed- so why would a scissors fee be an extra charge ?? Why would you not just add that into the price of a GROOMING ? He gave major attitude and was an awful person to be talking to. Bob is the manager of the store and took care of Everything- he was lovely and very understanding and kind . I will never have my dog groomed there again Oh also- they didn't do her ears , so I will need to do that myself

He's a golden retriever and the groomer told me that they'd give me they length that they usually cut golden's to. Well, they shaved him bald. His hair is choppy and his head hair is still long and not blended at all. His knees for whatever reason still have long hair. Also, there's a chunk of hair missing from his leg! I wish I could leave a photo in this review to show you how absolutely horrible his haircut was.

They had actual stacked crates and cages on top of each other and the dogs were absolutely terrified. I felt for them. They obviously do not sweep or clean after each dog they groom. Hair was piled high all over the floor. Thank God my dog has very short hair and only needed his nails done besides a wash. They were very fast and very helpful though. So I made the 2.5 hour drive to the shelter only to be told that the dog was there, but had already been tagged for rescue. For background, my family had always bought dogs from breeders, so when the staff told me this I was confused and started asking questions. Turns out, the dog got to the shelter on Tuesday and if it didn't get adopted by Friday, it would go to the rescue. I got there on Saturday. Literally 1 day late, and they wouldn't let me adopt her. So I ask them which rescue the dog will be going to (because I still want to try to adopt her) and they tell me they are not allowed to say because the rescues have been harassed in the past. Fine, I understand. But at least take the dog off of your website if it's no longer available for adoption. Or maybe pick up your phone so I don't waste 5 hours driving.

I did because sometimes he is hard to get. I noticed that it looked like his litter box had not been changed the entire time he was there. Also there is a fish tank in the cat room for their viewing pleasure. However it was totally green with algae. I was totally disgusted by both. Luckily they did feed him. I will never board my cat there again.
