They even sell Elvis pictures memorabilia here! This store is an excellent value, and I'm grateful that this store moved into our area of Florida. The service here is excellent, very friendly, kind, and accommodating.

UPDATE: I just heard from the store manager, the REAL MANAGER, not Pamela!! He's beside himself…read morewith embarrassment over how my friend and I were treated last night! His name is Scott. Scott took the time to call us both to talk to us about how terrible he feels about how Pamela behaved. He said he's going to take care of this situation to the best of his ability. He said he was able to get the store video and was very shocked at what he saw. He then asked his other manager to view the video to see if what he saw seemed correct. She agreed. He also contacted the cashier who was there and asked her how things went last night. He didn't lead on about the situation because he wanted to see if she would say anything and yes she did. She confirmed what he saw and he said he's totally embarrassed by what Pamela did. I just want to personally thank him for trying to make things right. He's a very kind man and he made it obvious he's very experienced at his job. I told him how much I enjoyed shopping there and how I was thrilled with the products and prices and how disappointed I was to have to leave my cart like that. Over 3 dollars!!! But it was the principle of the matter. He totally understood. The chances of my friend and I going back to Ollie's is very good but I told Scott, I'd call first to make sure he would be there and that Pamela would be off that day. In my opinion what she did to ruin everything for us, I think she should go and find a job that makes her happy. She was obviously miserable there and even said such as she said she wished she could leave. Be my guest Pamela. Don't try to ruin good people's lives like you wanted. To actually call the cops to have us trespassed? Shameful. Well I hope things change and I hope one day to be back at Ollie's again some day. I really loved shopping there today! The prices were amazingly good! The selection of products, fantastic! I spent over an hour in the store loading up my cart with my friend who is a senior citizen. She put a large box of coffee pods in her cart because there was a large sign with a price of 16.99. We were checking out and the cashier rang up 19.99. I advocated for my friend stating there is a sign up saying 16.99. A very stressed and angry looking employee came over and said there's no sale on the coffee. I explained there's a sign saying 16.99. She left and came back with the 16.99 sign. She said the sale expired 3 days ago. So I asked why the sign would still be displayed if it expired. She said it was her fault for leaving the sign up. I said don't you think you should honor the sign since she forgot to take it down. That's when she got very nasty and asked us to leave the store. With that I decided I'm leaving my cart. I said here I've got a cart full of stuff probably 200.00 worth, plus I had a 10.00 off coupon if I opened a credit card which I was going to do. I said for 3.00 you are losing a great deal of money. Really? I asked for the manager. She nastily said in a loud tone, "I'm the manager!" "Pamela". She pulled out the name tag on her shirt for emphasis. Next thing we knew she's talking loudly on the phone saying "there's ladies in the store causing problems and being obnoxious and need to be trespassed!" I was shocked. I told her not to worry because I would never return to this store again. Wow! I can not believe such a fun trip turned out to be a nightmare thanks to this manager. I tried contacting customer service at corporate but there's no telephone number. You have to email them after putting in all your personal information. Ridiculous. I'm guessing that's why she's such a nasty person. She gets away with it. But the sad thing is, how many people has she ripped off with that deceitful sign up for 3 days after expiration and how many other signs for sales is she not honoring. What a criminal thing to do. Yet she gets away with it because she's the only manager and there's no corporate telephone number. What a sad shame. I'd 100% go back to Ollies if this manager retired. I think she's a thief and a nasty one at that.

In my 15 minute drive to Cocoa Beach my shuttle driver mentioned Beall's Outlet at least three…read moretimes. I've never heard of this before, so when I saw it, I had to go find out what it is. Beall's Outlet is a cross between the furniture section at TJ MAxx and Ocean State Job Lot. Here you'll find all kinds of home accessories, like lamps, art, tablecloths, pillows and candles. They also have snacks, mugs, toys, beach essentials, and more. Everything is nicely organized and it's easy to navigate. Despite it being packed with things, there are clear paths for getting close to each item. The nicer items are quite expensive, each chair is $500 - $700. If a store sells furniture that also sells popcorn, the cost should be much lower. There are some items here that are priced appropriately, that I would be interested in getting. I wouldn't go out of my way to get to Beall's Outlet, if you're a local you might find some goods that are worth your time.

I don't know, I guess not knowing the name of certain cables and attachments makes me a plebeian fool? I avoided coming to this place like the plague for the longest time, but decided to return for curiosity's sake after learning that the previous staff had been replaced. Ever since the place changed owners, I can tell that they've had them focusing on making a more pleasant customer service experience. The weekend staff is so friendly and full of energy (I'm talking about YOU, Daniel), the shelves are always full and neat (except for the game guides. Most are well-used, so they unfortunately look like a frayed mess), and their selection is so wide, they even have some room for collectible goodies. The prices are a little rough, but they do try their best to price below GameStop for newer titles. I thought the retro games were pretty costly, but honestly, it's usually close to the cost as if I were to get them on eBay and include shipping. Can't really fault them for that if they're trying to make a profit. If there's anything close to negative I have to say, it's probably that the place is getting a little too popular again? Because there are so many people coming in, having only two people running front desk at a time leaves the risk of customers waiting a long time for a simple transaction, since they also handle repairs and the like. Maybe have someone who doesn't run a register that goes around answering questions? Not sure, but I do get sad when I see somebody who has been waiting in line just sigh and walk off because front desk is still working on testing a traded-in console. Target is definitely one of the best stores that I know of for providing an excellent value to their customers through their fantastic products. Another wonderful things to love about Target is that they often have a Starbucks restaurant inside their stores!
