You can tell he takes pride in his work. I've been getting haircuts almost every week for the past 10 years, and I can feel it on my head when a barber knows their stuff. And Carlos DOES. My fiancé has been looking for over a year to find a place to get his haircut and every place we've been to out here has thoroughly disappointed. Not Carlos! He right away greeted us and was so friendly the entire time. My fiancé had a good 3 inches that needed to be cut off and Carlos was really patient as he walked through how he wanted it styled and what length to cut it. Ever since we got home he hasn't stopped staring at himself in the mirror. It makes us both so happy that he finally has found a barber he can go to and feels comfortable with. How can you not give this place a 5 star rating. I went in today for the first time after my son found them on the internet. I read all of the reviews prior to booking my appointment. From the second I walked in the door, I knew I had found a great shop. Carlos was super friendly, yet professional. The shop was spotless and very nicely done. Carlos has a great sense of humor and makes you feel very comfortable the entire time. I'm glad that he uses an appointment schedule for hair cuts, so you are not sitting around for 20-45 to get a hair cut. Know down to the cut. My wife showed him a photo of what style of cut I wanted. Im new to Nampa. Did a walk in visit on a Saturday. It was my very first time. Curtis got me right in with no wait but if you prefer appointments they do that too. The shop reminded me of the way barber shops were run when I was a kid, which is saying a lot because I'm 65 now. They even did the warm shave cream on the neck. Didn't know how much I missed that little touch till today. Jennifer and Carlos are the owner/barbers. She introduced herself and thanked me for coming in. Everyone was so friendly. Curtis did a better job on his very first cut then my old barber of 35 years. He did exactly what I asked for. Great experience! My search for a new barber is over. So glad I found you guys. Carlos and Curtis are the best. Their shop is fun to do business with, they are very friendly and efficient, and the haircut price is very economical, especially the mohawk! Just kidding. Anointed Hands gets me to downtown Nampa, which I love visiting (I'm a newcomer to Idaho), and the shop takes me back to the day of real barbers. I just can't say enough good about Carlos and Curtis. They have kind, gentle hearts and it shows. Just the best. I always leave smokin' hot, at least according to my wife. read more

Walking in I was immediately greeted by the owner of the shop. I looked around and noticed the ambiance of the room, everything was calm and soothing. The shop is very clean and they handle things very professionally. This was my first time here but it won't be my last. My husband uses a CPAP machine, which causes a severe dent in his hair on the top of his head! He's been going to local barbers, to support small business. There are some things you just need bigger town mentality, this is one of those times. We both enjoyed his experience, getting his hair cut. The barber, Carlos is great, we met his wife Jennifer and their darling daughter (name escapes me). I was sort of new to town and didn't know where to get anything from a good meal to a good haircut. After a few bad haircuts at some other places, I found Balderaz Barber. The place is great, easy to get to and park, right downtown in a great location. But the Barber is a gem and a true master of his craft. Since going to Balderaz Barber, I have become the 14th best looking man in Nampa, all because of Balderaz Barber Shop. I have found a place in town for a good shave and a haircut. Also, The prices are more than reasonable. Now, if I could just find a place for good Italian food. read more
