Have only tried this place once and was not an exemplar experience. I called the day before and made an appointment with Monica. I received a text an hour and a half before my 9am appointment stating she could not honor my appointment and would I be able to move it to noon. I replied yes, I can move my other appointments around and be there at noon. I arrived a few minutes early only to find out Monica was not able to honor my appointment again and has been pushed to another barber Kaytee. We've been coming to The Hook up for 3 years now. Frog and Izzy are both amazing barbers and very professional. My youngest son has Autism and he is so comfortable getting his hair cut there because these two barbers have worked with him to get him to that point where he's not afraid to get his hair cut. We've taken them to other places where the barber is stressed out and looks unhappy to have to be working with children but I've never felt that the hook up. The do a great job and it's worth the price. read more

If you want your barber to constantly check their phone and text during your haircut, this is the place. Made it seem like they had other priorities then their job of cutting your hair. This made the duration of the haircut over 1 hour and 30 minutes, almost 2 hours for a haircut that would normally take about 1 hour or less.
