Another Food Truck was an option at the SouthPark after 5 event tonight and I waited 30 minutes for an order of the County Wings and the shrimp po boy. The wings were hot and crispy but flavorless with only a small drizzle of sauce. The fried shrimp on the po boy were the same. The 30 minute wait was unfortunately not worth it to me. Friday night my husband and I decided to kick off the weekend by trying a Chopped Champion's food truck. If you're on the hunt for the ultimate burger and sandwich, you can find it here. We arrived shortly before they were done for the night. As a result, they were sold out of their fish sandwiches. I was bummed because it's the only thing I wanted to try. My husband ordered the Double Bacon Swiss. I'm not really into spicy food, but I'm also the type who doesn't like ordering the exact same thing, so I opted for the Hot Chicken Smash. I'm not a chef, a cook, a baker, or a grill master. When I take a bite of food, I can't readily tell you every single ingredient I taste. That being said, my perspective on this burger and chicken sandwich won't have tons of detail. In a nutshell, the food was a chef's kiss emoji, a praise hands emoji, and the fire emoji. Seriously. After we both took one bite of the burger and one bite of the chicken sandwich, we agreed to split them because they were both sooo good. This is what I expect to taste when I'm feeling like a burger or sandwich at a nice restaurant. Flavor-filled, high-quality food. I can't tell you much more about it, other than the burger had lots of bacon on it and the chicken sandwich was HOT. My husband said it had "some kick." But I don't typically eat spicy food so my mouth was on fire. And I still ate all of my half because it was just that good. After the first bite, I completely forgot about being bummed out because they sold out of fish. If we're ever within a drivable distance from this truck and hungry, we'll return and try more of their menu. read more

I think Another Food Truck just isn't trying hard enough, at least compared to other food trucks. I had their "Hot Chicken Smash" and had breading that was falling apart and barely sticking, so it was basically a couple chicken breasts in a grilled cheese with pickles. They were at 760 Brewing less than 45 minutes, and were out of burgers... and it wasn't that busy. They also had no napkins 45 minutes in. With so many other quality food trucks in CLT, this one was disappointing. read more

3.5 stars The main reason for this rating was that they called out my name, another woman grabbed my order and started walking off, realized it wasn't hers and gave it back. They took it back into the truck and gave it to me when I walked up. With everything going on I understand food costs and all but I would've appreciated a not (random) touched food item. And you may be thinking "but it's in a container", but it's not. They only use half the take out container so the food is out in the open. read more

This truck has been all over my Instagram, so when I saw that they were finally coming to the Steele Creek area, I was on it. Covid-19: you can order and pay online in advance. It seems like orders open up the same day. Unfortunately, it seems like they were serving walk up orders before pre-orders. We had to wait 20 minutes after our pick up time and watched people that were walk ups getting their food before us. It was worth it for their food though. We got the Dirty Mac (Mac And Cheese), Double Trouble (Burger), Hot Chicken Smash (Grilled Cheese), and Blocks (Blondie Of The Day). This food was outstanding. Everything was delicious. I think my favorite was the Dirty Mac. The brisket and sauce on it were amazing and it was perfectly cheesy. The Hot Chicken Smash was really close to our favorite. It had a little kick and a lot of flavor. I loved the sauce on it and the chicken was juicy. The Double Trouble was my least favorite thing. I loved all of the toppings and the fondue was amazing, but it was a little dry. I like a nice and greasy smash burger and this one wasn't quite there. The Blocks we got for dessert were Circus Cookie and they were amazing. The blondies were moist and delicious on their own and the icing with frosted animal cookies were the perfect addition. The customer service was really good at this truck. It didn't take long for my order to be completed either. I ordered the mac and cheese with the chicken on top. It was cool. I think I had an idea that it would be more creamy then what it was. I dont know if I would order again but I would def come back to try another item on the menu. read more

The best way to experience AFT is grab four or five friends and order the whole menu. #squadgoals You can order the whole menu for $108! If you aren't going to order the whole menu, definitely order some onion rings, they are light and crispy and served piping hot. They were so good, I wanted to eat the whole tray of them. I simply love this Food Truck, today they are at our school, Reid Park Academy. They come when they get a chance to feed the teachers here. The food is always fresh and good today. I did the Smashburger oh my God when I say delicious I mean delicious. I usually do the Nashville hot chicken sandwich . I changed it up a little bit. So today, I had the pleasure of trying Another Food truck that parked right outside my residence (it was an event per-say). I initially forgot that they were coming 6/30/21 but by the grace of the Food Gods, I stumbled upon the truck as I approached my complex. I halted, looked at the menu, and proceeded to order the 'Carolina Patriot' and the 'Crack Mac' = gooey Mac n cheese (wish it was a bit more cheesy but still good ++ needed salt/pepper but that's my preference). *Carolina Patriot: Just another lobster roll.... but Carolina style and with shrimp NOT lobster. Jumbo Shrimp, Carolina Slaw, Average Sauce, N.E Roll I placed my order and waited about 10-15 mins, which is an average wait time in my opinion. I grabbed my food & teleported back to my apartment. I opened up the box to find my roll and mac-n-cheese just grinning back at me waiting for me to dive-in head first like a life guard trying to save a soul. My soul did get saved as I picked up that lightly toasted hoagie roll with those jumbo, succulent nicely battered shrimp just gripping onto the bread as it proceeded to go into the tunnel known as my mouth. The 1st bite was immediately followed by a 2nd huge bite (now only 1/2 of the roll is left). The unctuousness of the shrimp provided an almost ethereal experience as I was transported to the Carolina coast. The shrimp were juicy, luscious, moist, and crunchy. The slaw added an additional layer of texture followed by the creaminess of the average sauce, needed more, which was an aioli-based concoction (not too sure of the recipe). The noodles they used for the mac-n-cheese were perfect, cavatappi, I believe, but it needed MORE gooey cheese & some seasoning (simple salt/pepper would do). I am a mac-n-cheese snob and I make it myself, so expectations are pretty high. I guess for the average non-cheese lover, it's just that, average. All in all, they still get 5 stars because I really didn't see any fault from the beginning of the expedition until the end of the journey, consumption. Will definitely be trying more items in the near future. O_o read more

The Carolina Patriot was also tasty. Just wished the onion rings were battered a little more. Overall great service! The cashier was really nice and the food came out in a timely manner. This place was catered to my brother's wedding and to be honest, the food was genuinely bad. My brother was expecting 60 people to show, so the food truck was supposedly prepared for 60 people. However, roughly 25 people showed up and the people operating the truck were extremely stingy with anything extra. A good amount of people in my family do not eat meat, so they were given instructions to include vegetarian options. The had brussel sprouts, mac & cheese and french fries. When I asked to get all three the woman taking my order was very adamant about us only getting two of the three (even though there was more than enough and everything was paid for). As for the food, the only good thing on the menu was the fries. The mac & cheese was flavorless, only had one piece of shrimp in the entire plate and the shredded cheese was solid on top. The brussel sprouts were a greasy mess, the seasoning overpowered by whatever oil it was fried in. Most of us ended up ordering uber eats after trying the food. read more

Don't let the name fool you. This is not just another food truck clearly a chef is in there cooking up the best and tasty dishes ever. I love the daily specials offered. I travel at least 10 miles to eat at this truck. If you love Mac and cheese with anything then you are at the right truck. The Mac is creamy flavored and perfect. The shrimp are crispy and seasoned. I went there tonight. GOD, PLEASE DONT LET ME GET COVID!!! I researched them and upon the advice of the owner, placed, paid for, and TIPPED my order online. Even while following the text notifications re: the status of my order being ready, I STILL had to wait about 20 minutes in the cold for my food after the "your order is ready notification" along with a COVID crowd of other people - only SOME of whom wore masks!! Also had to interact with the cashier a few times who WORE HER DAMN MASK UNNNNNNDER HER CHIN! I was nervous and am praying I don't get sick over a damn sandwich. Until they realize there is a PANDEMIC, I would wait until you are COVID vaccinated before patronizing this food truck. read more
