She said they would love to put it up on display so everyone could see it. So after a few months they called her and said they were ready to pick up the 1954 color television and put it on display. So I'm 2008 when I was there she took me to this university to show me what they did with it. I was honestly in shock how they did the history of the Tv set and wrote a nice story about the Tv and about my grandmother's donation. It's a very nice university and I was very proud to see that her Tv is still on display there. In 2014 when she passed away I went back to this university to see if it was still there. And sure enough it was still there looking like the day they received it. Brings smiles to me when I think about it. So if you're ever in the area go check it out.

They then send you an email end of day on a Friday so you miss when the office is open and have to wait all weekend to help. By the time I get my check it will be 1 week since school started and I have no supplies. I wish the school would think about the students a little bit more.

My focus was in the hospitality field, one that is no longer offered since the professor has retired from teaching. Being in the heart of Anchorage and the center of the trail network allows any student the opportunity to get outdoors as much as possible, which I did a lot.
