She said they would love to put it up on display so everyone could see it. So after a few months they called her and said they were ready to pick up the 1954 color television and put it on display. So I'm 2008 when I was there she took me to this university to show me what they did with it. I was honestly in shock how they did the history of the Tv set and wrote a nice story about the Tv and about my grandmother's donation. It's a very nice university and I was very proud to see that her Tv is still on display there. In 2014 when she passed away I went back to this university to see if it was still there. And sure enough it was still there looking like the day they received it. Brings smiles to me when I think about it. So if you're ever in the area go check it out.

What was created as a solution to a problem in Alaska has grown to become a national model, and has been mirrored across the US in similar programs in many universities; None are as successful as ANSEP or have such a profound impact on the STEM fields. I started this program when there were only a few students and a couple of graduates. There are so many things that are great about this program and I owe much of my success to Dr. Herb Schroeder, Ilisaurri.
