So not only have I not received my degree, nor walked the stage, now I'm receiving calls from a collection agency posing as the Department of Public Health. This school is a joke. Instead of working to resolve the issue they want to pass the blame off on you as the student. You know how embarassing it is to have your family in attendance and on zoom just to be overlooked and not have your name called like the other students? It's been Since September and it's now March and I haven't heard from anyone unless it's about enrolling in another program. Again, this school is a joke, and Nicole McMillon needs to do better at her job and make sure no student is overlooked. If they are take accountability for it and work it out. And no waiting a whole other year for the next graduation is not the solution. read more

It seems like once you finish most of the school it's impossible to get ahold of anyone there, they only call me 500 times to sign things and tell me to pay more but when I need help trying to get ahold of them for a job I have coming and I need to verify that I passed the ncct and my externship hours and get information to use them as a job reference like they offered to do they don't email me back, call me back , or the front desk people won't try to get ahold of them also won't relay the message to call me or check their e-mail. They're the only people at this point holding me back from a job. Just wish they would get this moving so I could get my job. Alright they went from 2 stars to one but if I could they would have nothing. As 3 weeks have gone by that I finished my externship it is progressively harder and harder to get ahold of them, and not I may have done this for nothing. read more

This college is a joke. I was one class away from finishing my Associates degree... I had moved to Texas by this time and finishing my classes all online. They never shipped my books to my home in Texas even after I had called and emailed their bookstore. After many voicemails and emails I lost my patience on someone who transferred my to an actual human in the bookstore where they informed me that my information was never updated hence why i didn't get my books **Insert eye roll because they had already sent my books for my previous online class to the same address** After I had explained this to them I tried to withdraw from the class because I wasn't going to get my books until the 4th week in. I was informed by the Dean that I wasn't able to withdraw at that time and to "do my best". I was then informed that I had to be in state to complete my certifications to get my degree and that is when the light bulb went off and I realized I just wasted a ton of money on a college that isn't even accredited and a total scam. I got a call today... 7 years later and they asked if i wanted to rejoin their college to finish my degree. not the degree I originally signed up for but a different one. So they are asking for me to spend more money with them. Any college that is calling their past students to enroll obviously isn't getting enough funding and on the verge of being shut down which they should be cause it is the worst "college" I had ever attended. Side note - If you are a current student feel free to Google all of your teachers questions for your tests as they have copied verbatim from previous teaches tests which can all be found online with the answer. This place only cares about themselves and students' monthly payments. While this whole pandemic is affecting so many people, this school basically told their students to keep making payments otherwise the interest rate will be going up. Whenever students explain their financial situations, they don't offer much help or support. I hope the "upper management" can get their heads outta their asses. Also, charter college does not follow the federal government's restrictions on student loans because they are a profitable state school; according to their finance director. Even though they get federal funds from the federal government. It's just a bunch of bullshit all around. read more

I got swindled by their enrollment and financial aid department. When I signed up to enroll, financial aid told me that I had this much worth of transfer credits and that I can go to school for this amount of time before paying anything. After I started to attend the college, another financial aid lady came to tell me that the documents have been set up wrong, and that they changed them and "here's your copy" like I just had to accept that. They had taken out loans already. I withdrew from the school in November and they continued to accept loans, grants, and scholarships in my name until March / April the next year. I currently owe the dept of education 10K for schooling that I never got. read more

I previoisly complained about them calling me early in the morning to try and talk me into going to school with them. In the end I told them I was going with another college and asked them to take me off their mailing list. It's almost been a full year since this happened and I started getting calls again. I finally answered, half asleep because it's early, and they don't mention where they're calling from at all. I have to push it out of them. I informed them that a year ago I asked them to stop calling and her tone changed. She went from chipper to a very snippy tone and asked "so are you saying you don't want to have an education?" I told her I planned on furthering my education but it would be with a college that wasn't rude! I got hung up on. Hopefully that's the last I hear from them! read more

Do not go to this school. As long as they have the chance to take your money they will be nice and friendly. However, should you have the mistake of going to the this college and graduate from it, that is when things truly start to change for you. When I asked for help in attaining some of my certs they would not talk to me. Multiple calls to the job placement/counselor revealed said person was out and would return my call. Two months and still no call back. For the love of God, DO NOT ATTEND this School!!!! You would suffer less pain and embarrassment being dragged behind a car over a gravel road for five miles. read more

Do not go to this college, they lie about anything to get you in and will change your initial contract for you to owe more money than what you signed up for. You won't get a good education and office administration does not do their job. I finished with a 4.0 average as a CMA and barely passed my NCCT, because they don't provide you with enough education material. They have not helped me with job placement months after I finished. Save yourself a lot of debt and trouble and stay clear of this college, all of my peers also hated it. I know a lot of people who went to Alaska Career College and actually liked it and said they got a lot of hands on, plus it's 10 grand cheaper. read more
