Small town mentality. Better off to go to Mountain State in town than Anshor. We wanted to send our son to a driving school because he has some learning difficulties from being a micro preemie and needs learning support vs. just reading on his own. We couldn't find the information we needed on the website and we tried to call a few times but could never get through, so we had to drive over there to talk to them. We were told they would not teach our son because he might be inappropriate with younger girls in the class. What the hell? They don't even know him and asked NO questions, just said they wouldn't allow him to be in a class. Strange! Very small minds! I'm autistic and showed up with my daughter to test. understandably I wasn't allowed to bring her (totally fine) but when I called inside to make sure her age was okay, they said no children (again also fine that's how the state works) and that i couldn't get my testing fee back. i asked why and they explained but then they charged me an extra 80 for a no show even tho I was there on time. awful company even tho their drivers train people well. not very competent nor understanding of autism. worse than McDonald's drive through service and they mess up orders everyday yaknow what I mean. read more

They took my fears of driving and made it fun and feel super safe which really helped me pass my test! I cannot tell you how wonderful this place truly is! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They have horrible customer service. My daughter had a driving test scheduled with Christine Davis and she doesn't belong in her line of work. They're supposed to be providing a type of customer service and know that people are already nervous about being watched, let alone that my daughter is only familiar with her car. First Christine got mad that my daughter couldn't find the trunk release and that she had to go around to pop it and then pull out a pad to boost her up. Then as they were starting to back out, my daughter didn't know that the wheel was already cranked and rather than give her a second to straighten out, Christine reached over and immediately grabbed the wheel. So they were off to a horrible start right from the beginning, rather than trying to put my daughter at ease at all. After they got back, we weren't even a few feet out of the door and my daughter burst into tears over the way that Christine had talked to her. When I went back in to ask her about how to get in contact with her manager, she told me Chris@anshor. I specifically asked her C-H-R-I-S? She said yes and then I continued to ask 'and that's at anshor or anshordriving?' And she said just 'anshor.' I thought this seemed fishy because the names being so close, so I called to try to see if I could get someone to answer to verify this and got a recording. The recording said I could contact KRIS@anshordriving. So she lied to me about both the spelling and driving part being added on. Then when KRIS Klemmer, the manager called me, she wasn't any better. I NEVER asked that they pass my daughter, I wanted to make them aware of the crappy service Christine provided. However, Kris talked to Christine before me and only wanted to hear her side. She told me that she's never known her to act like that and my daughter did fail (again, never asked them to pass her) and that My daughter walked out on Christine while she was going over everything with her. Which is another lie she told because my daughter didn't do that, I was four or five feet from them the whole time they were talking. NEVER GO HERE. Crap service and employees and management. They charge more for their horrible service than other places with better reviews. read more

Kris put my son completely at ease. He had a horrible experience at another business and was so nervous. Kris was very kind and personable. She took the time to talk with him and try to understand what had happened at the other business. She then took him out for his test and was fantastic with him. I have had another son go through Anshor and wished I had not made the mistake of not going with them again with this kiddo. Had a great experience the first go around but timing didn't match up with what my second son needed. Completely recommend Anshor! read more

I don't remember the name but the way she treated my daughter during her test is unacceptable. Grabbing the wheel, not giving her time to react cause the wheel was all the way cranked, not listening to her when she said she couldn't see over the hood, and since she couldn't she went passed the line at the stop sign and she docked points off. Then proceeded to have an attitude when my daughter couldn't find the trunk button cause it was a new car for her. I believe her name was Chris or Kris I don't remember fully. read more

Just ask them... they will tell you that they have great customer service... Yeah - not my experience. They don't seem to have enough drivers (for the 3 x 2 hour required drives + driving test) to accommodate the number of students they are putting through the class. "Our" driver is scheduled out through the end of August - and it is the middle of JUNE! Not sure what other options are available out there - but not going through Anshor for my next kiddo... read more

Absolutely OUTSTANDING support! I don't know what I would have done without Kris and her staff. Not only is the DMV completely UNhelpful, it is almost impossible to get a hold of a real person. Thank goodness for Kris and Anshor. She and her staff have answered all my questions as we've navigated this complicated path to getting our daughter her permit and now her drivers license. The permit classes were top-notch - our daughter scored a 96% on the permit exam and is an excellent driver; she is even teaching us some things (insert eye roll)... Her classroom driving instructor did their job - they taught her the rules of driving and shared some of the dangers, as well. Now, as we approach the 1-year mark of her permit, I've been trying to figure out just HOW to get her license and let me tell you, it's humbling to say the least. Thankfully, Kris has been there for us, to help us with accurate, clear information, and now to get us scheduled in to *take the test* with Anshor so we can *pick up her license* at the DMV. Apparently the DMV doesn't do any actual drive tests anymore, but you wouldn't know that unless you speak with Kris because NO ONE at the DMV could give me a straight answer! I had three different DMV folks tell me THREE DIFFERENT things about the process of getting a license. I registered my son online, and from the website, it appeared that the classroom sessions could be done at his high school (the website is VERY misleading). However, I found out that it had to be done in Greeley. We decided to do online instead with another driving school, so I called to get a refund of the fees paid. This was only two days after paying. I was told a refund would be processed in a few days. Well, three weeks later, I still had no credit on my credit card. So, called again, spoke with the same gentleman, who said he would have to speak with his supervisor. Three days later, still no refund. I'm still out $435 for absolutely nothing. This is a poor excuse for a company! If this is how they run their business, I definitely don't want my son learning to drive from them!!!!! read more
