He was brought there on a stretcher, but after two weeks of physical therapy, he was up and running again (ok, maybe not running, but he was walking again). I was impressed with the progress the staff made with my father's rehabilitation. My interactions with the staff were positive and informative. My father actually enjoyed his stay here and liked the staff. Overall, it was a positive experience.

When I arrived to do so at the appointment time the therapist suddenly had a family emergency and they canceled it. They also sent paperwork to his insurance saying he wasn't participating. They stole items out of his room and left him there for hours without checking on him. When he was sent to Griffin Hospital he was dehydrated and everything was shutting down and I lost my Dad 3/29/24. I've been getting a bill ever since he passed away for resident amount and he wasn't one. If I had to do all over again I would of never sent him there.

Rehabilitation This…read morefacility should be shut down! My sister was there for 2 days for hip surgery rehabilitation. The nurses are crude and unsympathetic to say the least. My sister laid in her feces for EIGHT hours, she then began violently throwing up while stuck on her back and still no one came. She had to call her son at 11:00 pm. She was immediately transferred to Yale hospital. Yale had to clean her up from the feces and vomit. I could cry just picturing her. She could have died on her own vomit. Yale then drained 6 gallons of liquid from her stomach. I will be doing all I can to get this place shut down. The nursing care is non existent. Don't send anyone there and expect help, as I have seen from your numerous negative reviews.
