The breakfast at Ramazan Bingöl included five different types of cold cheeses; kaymak (cream) with honey; marinated olives with walnuts; four different types of cold cuts; spicy chickpeas; tahini; jam; a plate of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers; and a basket of breads including simit, flatbreads, and rolls. The hot dishes included halloumi and boreks (cheese pastries); sausages; grilled liver; menemen (eggs cooked with tomato and peppers); and mihlama, a hot dip from the northern Black Sea region made of melted cheese and cornmeal. Everything was delicious, but I was especially a fan of the hot boreks, the cheeses (which were each unique in flavor and texture), the chickpeas, the liver, and the breads. The service was super friendly as well, and the breakfast here made for a wonderful experience!

The service is always friendly and warm and the atmosphere is eclectic and charming. You can take a ferry boat to Çengelköy or it is on major bus lines from Beykoz and Kadikoy. Tek amacımız pilav üstü tavuk döneri yiyebilmek olur buraya giderken. Ama genelde biz buraya yürüyene kadar yer kalmaz tabi. Biz de tek başına oturan birinin yanına geçeriz direk:) Zaten buradaki konsept oturup zaman geçirmek değil. Yemeğini söylersin, 5 dakika içinde yemeğin gelir ve yemeğini bitirip kalkarsin buradan. Belki kalkmadan önce bir çay içilebilir ancak sırada bekleyenlerin bakışları arasında bunu yapamazsın genelde:) biz de o yüzden yemeğimizi yer ve kalkarız buradan. Çayımızı da az ilerideki pastaneden tatlı bir şeyler eşliğinde içeriz. Burada tavsiye etmeyeceğim tek şey ise künefesidir. Dondurulmuş olarak aldıkları künefe pek te lezzetli olmuyor.
