Kebab plate

Went onto Yelp to find a spot to eat being new to the area. Gave this place a shot based on yelp reviews. Got the kebab plate and it was excellent.....

Great street food place! The kababs are so tender & flavorful. They serve a big, fulfilling meal. The service was fast too.

Pretty disappointed to be honest. Was looking forward to tasting some Turkish food for the first time, but their was not a single Turkish person working there. I had a chicken sandwich for 9.50$. Definitely over priced, since for 10$ you can easily get a sandwich and fries anywhere in Montreal. Also they charged 2.5$ for a can of soda! The food quality was not bad though. It seemed fresh and was warm when I ate it. However, the taste was lacking. At most, it was a basic chicken sandwich. The flavour was lacklustre and unoriginal. It was halal so that is a plus. All in all, 2/5, overpriced and basic, but not bad enough to get a 1/5.

Ordered the Chicken Sandwich & the Beef Kebab Sandwich. The meat was tender & well seasoned, the pita was warm & fresh. However the sandwich tasted basic & really was just an ordinary meal. It's a good sandwich to grab if you are hungry & need something quick within the vicinity. But it's definitely not a meal I would recommend as there are many great sandwich options in Montreal within the same price range, serving quality food that is delicious!

The Antep Kebab sandwich. The bread is spectacular.

It's been three years since my last visit here, three years since my last visit to Montreal, and it's wonderful to see it still open. I had an Antep Kabab sandwich, which is made on toothsome, perfect Turkish bread with various toppings including a pungent sort of chevre. It is a STUNNINGLY good sandwich that I had to get to go as there is no seating inside or outside Antep. But the thing is that this made it *better*. I stopped at a "park" near the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth and the sandwich had cooled to a perfect temperature and was just spectacular. I also got a bottle of Turkish orange soda that is teeth-achingly sweet and didn't like it. But this sandwich- it's magic.

Delicious spicy chicken sandwhich with a strong charcoal flavor. It isn't too spicy and there's a lot of chicken in it. For 8$ tax included, this is definitely worth it. The place is clean and spacious inside, but half of the surface is their kitchen so there aren't many seats. They don't take cards so remember to bring cash.

This place has my favourite sandwich. There is no competition. The fresh bread is stuffed with so much juicy chicken. Together with the spicy sauce, yogurt, lettuce, cucumber and tomato it's perfection. I've had it countless times in the last 5 years. If you're super hungry then get the lamb kebab plate.

The food was delicious. You just have to remember to pay in cash. You order your food and find a table and wait for them to call you.

Very tasty food. Reasonable prices. I would have given 5 stars if they accepted debit and/or credit payment.

The food was good but the ambiance was terrible. Very DIRTY, poor service, crowded, and overall unsatisfactory.

Delicious little spot at the heart of Montreal. Really enjoyed their kebab sandwich. Small clean spot with friendly staff.

My friends and I bought a groupon for an art night/tapas at this restaurant. We were looking…read moreforward to trying this place out. The decor of the restaurant was stunning! The art work on the walls, the intricate chairs and laterns, beautiful carpets were very impressive. The art part of the evening was amazing! We were four girls and we all loved the teacher, we had a blast. The food part of the evening was a huge disappointment. When I made the reservation I was told we would have a choice of tapas, there was no choice. The waitress did not even bother to explain what it was we were eating when she brought the food to the table. The first tapas came in a small serving dish and tasted like frozen spinach, mixed with oil and what I could only assume was little bits of ground beef. No salt or seasoning what so ever, and it had one tortilla chip in it. The chip was the best part. The second tapas was a mixture of grated carrot, mixed with lots of oil and a lot of prunes! I had about 8 prunes in my dish. There was some chicken as well, but again, no seasoning. At the start of the evening we thought we might stay longer, order more food perhaps...we quickly changed our minds on that. Also the waitress seemed like she wanted us to leave so she could close up. All in all, we had fun, but the food left much to be desired. Far too pretentious for the price.

Terrible experience. Never going back. They completely ruined an event which I attended by playing…read moreloud and weird music and not attending to guest`s needs. We were approximately 8 people and everyone swore to complain and to write a review. First it took them about 20 minutes to bring us drinks we ordered. Then we had to ask them twice for ice because all drinks were warm. 10 minutes later they finally found the ice. Appetizer was not cooked properly; I will leave it at that. Main meal was just ok. Medium rare stake turned out well done. Sauce with the stake was good, but rest was so-so. Wine menu is practically non-existent. In the middle of our dinner staff interrupted our event by bringing left-over sweets from the buffet they had in another part of restaurant and lightning candles for my friend`s anniversary. Honorable intent of course, but two problems with that. We were in the middle of our main meal, so everyone was shocked at how poor their timing was. And of course second is the fact that it was composed of left overs and was far from being presentable. Temperature in the room was too hot for most people, all women complained. Lightning was way too bright. Staff kept mixing orders all the time and forgetting simple requests. The only positive I can think of is decor; they have done a good job with making it look nice and unique. In the end we all left extremely frustrated to say the least. I hope this helps anyone thinking of organizing an event at this place or even a romantic date.
