This would seem reasonable except in all the cases I had them come out in advance to survey the job (simple stuff like installing light fixtures) or send pictures and do pre-calls to ensure there wouldn't be any issues like that - and yet it still happened. Only logical place to go is scam or a level of incompetence, and either way I've felt like I lost some trust with this company and am out an extra few hundred dollars :(

He proceeded to tell me how the conduit was going to run a certain direction and be anchored down to the floor so as not to be a tripping hazard (WTF?)- not what we had discussed, and it was obvious he was short cutting the job because he didn't calculate enough conduit or wires to run it the correct direction. Argued horribly with the other trade about a hook-up to some equipment, I had to walk away- it was REALLY BAD! Then he said it was going to take another two hours because he had to go get all new wires and conduit- to which I said "ok". My equipment guys had to leave and come back later since they were waiting on the electrician. Many hours later, it got completed but it was a very unpleasant experience. This guy had horrible manners and was very disrespectful and rude. I was very happy to get them off my property!

They diagnosed the original problem which was an issue with the window flashing being done incorrectly from the builders and corrected the issue. It then rained and started showing a lesser water leak than before. The siding guy came back out within 24hrs and noticed another issue with my siding and the direction the wind was coming at my house and reversed the seams of my siding. I have not had a leak since! I definitely recommend these guys and will come back to them if I have any other issues with my house. They were reasonably priced and did very good work. Thank you guys!

He worked with the manufacturer to get replacement windows that matched our current windows as closely as possible as our model was no longer available. We requested proposals from several…read moreelectrical companies for installation of a RV receptacle and a 20 amp receptacle and from those we selected Sermon to perform the project . They weren't the lowest cost but were close to my pencil estimate plus they were available to complete the project sooner rather than later. From arrival to look at what we needed done, providing a proposal, interfacing with the city permitting and inspection process, to completion of the work and communication with us; the Sermon personnel were very professional and efficient. The day the work was scheduled the two of them arrived between 8&9 as planned, they had the work well planned out, walked us through the planned work, efficiently completed the work with hardly any mess left behind, and 8 hours later walked us through the completed work. We turned the AC on in our trailer and voilà we can escape to air conditioned comfort in our trailer when it's super hot!!! They notified the city inspector that the installation was complete and this morning the city inspector inspected the work and approved it. Sermon provided us a copy of the city letter of notification for our records.

As for these parts markups, the prices I have been quoted were about the same or 10% more than me ordering it myself, so again, no huge markups from my experience. Our heat is currently out and they actually brought over some loaner space heaters because the part was 3 days out. The installed price for the part I need is only around $80 more than having it overnighted. Pretty honest prices in my cases.....
