Over the years, I've been to many churches across California, and this is one of my favorites (if not THE favorite). Let me count the ways: ================== * They are very welcoming. You can feel the love. * Responsible and applicable teaching. * Family: perfect for your little ones. If not seated with you in the main sanctuary, they have many classes and small groups for children. * Local and international focus. * The main sanctuary is totally pro. Huge and wide stage, and the utmost professional sound and lighting. * The seats are comfortable. * I've been maybe 10-12 times. I've seen the lead pastor about 4 times. The others, a senior or associate pastor, each different. Rare. They share the light, and this is good so that a church is not so dependent. Normally, if the main pastor leaves, the church attendance goes way down. I don't see that happening here. * Each service is different and special with performance or a unique speaker. * Tons of groups, tons of activities: a benefit for attending a large church. * Parking can be crazy busy, but it's well organized with helpful volunteers to have you navigate. Bottom-line, if you are looking for a church that you get great teaching along with a show (music and performance), a church you can join a group and get involved, I encourage you to check this wonderful church out.

Today, Sunday, February 22, 2026, was my day of Deliverance…read more I have been praying for Deliverance for many many years. I am pretty new to Revelation Church. Today, the Worship team were in their power singing and playing. I began crying deeply as I sang and prayed to Jesus. I then noticed something else. I experienced other energies within me. The Ushers invited me outside the hall to cast out this demonic stuff. They sat me down outside as the demonic stuff got even more intense. They ministered on me commanding the demonic stuff to go to the pit, that their job was finished. It wasn't scary at all. Jesus was with me the whole time There was a lot of resistance and screaming. But it finally subsided. I laid down for awhile. Then, I kneeled to Jesus. I felt freedom. They brought me back inside. I am so calm now. Even this evening I am still so calm and grounded. Thank you Lord Jesus. I am so grateful to Jesus, to Profit Elias, to the Ushers, to the Service Team. I love Revolution Church. They are highly qualified to support you.

I knew that this is where I need to be and you can ask members of the congregation and some will say the same thing. Lighthouse started at Living Word Christian Fellowship 30 years ago and has grown into a multi generational church. This is a church when I am blessed by the Lord to find a wife and have children that I will be taking them there. The young adult and youth ministries are amazing. The worship in service is spectacular. Every single week, I always get something out of Pastor Gary Dunahoo's sermons that I use in my daily life. I haven't been to the young adults worship yet, but when the young adults pastor, Marc Wymore does a sermon in front of the whole congregation, it takes me 2-3 weeks to process because it is phenomenal and seems to always be what I need to hear at the right time. As for the comment about being ignored by the pastor, this is false. I have never once had that happen to me. It is the exact opposite. Pastor Gary takes the time to talk to you. All you have to do is walk up to him. It's pretty easy. Pastor Marc is the same way. And this church has other leaders that you can talk to that have been with this church for decades and love Lighthouse and are always there for you. This Church helped save my life and I am forever grateful. You can feel God's presence there. Take a chance and come visit Lighthouse and see what I am talking about. Sadly, our experience at Godspeak Calvary Chapel was not what we had hoped for. As someone who is naturally outgoing, I was surprised to feel somewhat like an outsider here. The environment didn't feel particularly warm or welcoming--more standoffish and cliquish than inviting. Another concern was the heavy political focus during the service. While I personally agree with much of the church's political stance, I don't believe the pulpit is the right place to emphasize it so heavily. A Christ-centered message should be the heart of any service, and unfortunately, that seemed secondary here. This style may suit the Godspeak fellowship, and I respect that, but it likely won't resonate with visitors who are seeking a message focused on Christ rather than current events. While I won't return, I'm not here to judge individuals--only to share my honest experience.

They make it a point to know each and every member by name and welcome newcomers with open arms. I originally came from a large Lutheran congregation, but just never felt a connection or a familial bond. But at The Rock, there's no way you can just sneak past unnoticed...they see you, they know you, they are aware of when you've missed a service. Pastors Rick and his wife Sharon seek you out for prayer and one on one conversation. They truly, honestly, genuinely care. There are classes for all ages and stages of spiritual development. We are all in a different place and have different needs. We don't have all the answers but can talk and share about our trials. The Pastor never ceases to maze me each week with his insights and relevance to the continual struggle. He also has a fantastic sense of humor. The Church has been a real blessing to our family and can help anybody who needs some guidance on their journey. I leave each week refreshed and retooled for the upcoming week.
