Non have been able to provide any services, it's always some reason I don't qualify. What has the world come to where you need so much more than being homeless to qualify for services. I have exhausted so much money paying for hotels. The last hotel my family and I resided in the staff put us in a hotel room with a broken window because of their negligence my autistic son fell 4 story's and because so we are now fighting a CFS case for the past few months. My husband and I came to this organization looking to be able to save up for just a month while I continue school. Their reasoning for not helping us was because I had no connection with surrounding areas hello I'm homeless I have no connection with any area ‍ weird. They also said I couldn't go to school I have to be working which is also weird considering my husband already works, by going to school I'm working towards something more permanent for my family. Neither one of us does any type of drugs or drink, we are just a family who have been experiencing hard times that won't give up. We only needed 30 days to save up some money before our court date, finding a house is the last thing we need to complete before we can get the kids back and we were hoping to stay here for a month so we can save enough to cover move in cost when we find our next home.

Part of what makes a great thrift store fun is the hunt, the setup, the vibe, and finding those unexpected treasures but here it felt like there was just a lot of stuff without much organization or thought behind the layout. The pricing was another thing that surprised me. A lot of the prices didn't really make sense for a thrift store and felt on the higher side compared to other spots I've visited. The atmosphere was just missing something. No cool decor, no personality, and overall the vibe wasn't there for me. It feels like it caters more to an older crowd, which is totally fine, but just not my style of thrifting. Also, no restroom available, which is always frustrating when you're shopping and spending time looking around. 4/10 for me. I love discovering new thrift stores, but this one isn't a place I'd go out of my way to visit again.

I like Wednesday's where there are student/teacher discounts. To my luck, I went on a spin the wheel day today! You get to spin the wheel after your purchase for an opportunity to win items or get a discount. I like browsing their toys, vintage items, and office supplies. I usually get very good second hand items such as staplers, hole punchers, DVDs, shoes, and board games. This location is actually my favorite place to shop for vintage film cameras (I'm afraid to post this because my fellow Yelp friends will be coming more to grab them before I do!). Today, I bought a good pocket minolta film camera, some stuffed animals, and some office supplies. The cashiers are sweethearts and are willing to help you look at items! They also have an extensive amount of used clothes and furniture. It's definitely my favorite thrift store and will continue to be so.

While checking through the shelves, Frank, who worked in that area, asked me if he could help. After explaining how the section was organized, when the newest ones came in, etc., he took information on the book I was searching for and promised to hold it for me if it came in. After several return visits later, he advised me that it hadn't shown up yet. A few weeks later I found it at home and let them know. I was very appreciative that Frank had been kind enough to keep an eye out for me.

There is a Methodist church in the front then you take a long winding road with some turns the property was beautiful and I had one of my dogs with me who was recently attacked by a much bigger dog and was clearly traumatized by the incident. Dog owners know how to read and recognize their pets To watch my sweet little soul mate excited to be outside sniffing everything so many types of plants and vegetation birds singing, butterflies and bumble bees, up and down a few paths we explored. The young man told me that I'm welcome to come back they are open Monday thru Friday and if I wanted to come everyday that would fine too I left with 2 grocery bags full of wholesome and healthy produce and my dog and I left with a little more pep in our step due to our adventure in nature at this incredible place.

For example; thriller and mystery , history, Poetry, religions, Philosophy , Fiction , romance, fantasy, Sci-fi, comics, classics, social studies, Wellness, parenting, kids, business, cultural studies and more. I immediately filled out the application which is detailed from the long list of questions, photos and video of the home Adopting from Royce is a rigorous process . She wants to make absolutely sure the adoption is a good fit. I have two other lap dogs with one being a little possessive of me. Royce and her sister drove Macy to our home to meet our dogs . They stayed for a long time to watch the behavior of the three dogs and also taught me how dogs " size each other up " In the end we passed with flying colors and could not be happier with our new girl Macy Thank you Angels and Paws and most of all for Royce and all the unsung heroes who sacrifice so the unwanted dogs can once again find a place they can call home

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN ASSOCIATING WITH THIS BUSINESS…read more TLDR: We have been repeatedly harassed over the adoption of this dog. She has threatened our friends and workplaces. She has FOUND OUR ADDRESS WITHOUT OUR CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE when we had just moved last month. She has posted our private information without our knowledge. Save yourselves time and go to the San Bernardino County Animal Shelter. We fostered a dog from here as a favor for a mutual friend, Royce. During the time Ruby (the dog) was with us, I sent numerous photos and communication to her privately. Royce then posted to 10k+ people our names, where we live, where my partner works, as well as photos of our house and Ruby WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. Additionally, we were discussing the potential of foster failing, because Ruby has been a huge blessing to our lives. Within the FB post on August 16th, Royce stated she hoped we would foster fail and asked everyone to pray. Royce detailed a very sweet story of how my partner originally found Ruby in the Cajon Pass and surrendered her to the rescue, as well as more info. I did not have knowledge of this post until a couple days ago. On a Monday, Royce and I had a phone call about the health of the dog and I told her she should visit during our next vet apt to see how well she's doing. Ruby came to us extremely dirty and itchy from her property, but we have poured a lot of love into her. She asked if we wanted to adopt, and before I could answer she told us to think about it and that cost would be $300. At this point, zero mention of contracts for fostering or adoption have been discussed. Monday 2pm- Royce texted me that she would discount to $200. At this time, I was taking care of Ruby and getting ready for work. I get off at 8pm, and by the time my partner and I finished our evening it was 9pm. I decided to reply in the morning. Tuesday morning, I woke up to a text from Royce at 10pm saying, "is that not good enough for you?" I replied at 7am and apologized for not responding. I told her we had a busy day (taking care of Ruby, work, car A/C going out) and that we would love to adopt her. I said thank you for the discount and that my partner will send her a Zelle now. SHE TRIED TO CANCEL THE ADOPTION. We already paid for the dog, and she acknowledged we had paid for the dog. She told me I was ungrateful for not saying thank you. That I didn't reply fast enough, and that I didn't "kiss her ass enough". We kept Ruby, as we paid the money for her. There is no one else lined up to take her, so she would just go back to a kennel. She has since posted the dog for adoption, even though she is not in her possession. She has threatened our friends, to show up at my partner's workplace, to call the cops, and continues to blow up our phones. She called animal control on us, which they closed out the call in 5 min when seeing Ruby was well taken care of. This has been a traumatic experience for my partner and I. We will likely never use a private rescue again. It's been awful. We are good people with lots of experience with dogs. We just hope the next person has the same insight we do now.
