Parents! Anthis Career Center offers area high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to pursue their career objectives while still in high school. Programs include Health Science; automotive trades, I.T.,aviation, welding, criminal justice early childhood development, cosmetology, culinary, and EMS. Many classes offer dual credit college credits with Ivy Tech. Students can earn certifications that allow them to enter the work force directly after high school. College bound students can feel assured they are investing their time and money well. Some leave with as many as 12 college credits. Anthis offers academic classes as well making it possible to earn their high school diploma as well as an technical honors diploma. read more

First let me say that I work for myself self but due to the type of work I do, I was interested in…read moregetting a part-time during the winter. I asked the ladies at the front desk if they had any customer service positions and they took the last 4 of my ssn and told me that my information was not current. I stated that I can update that but before I did, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't wasting their time or mine if they didn't have any customer service positions. The lady with blonde hair in the front stuffing her mouth with frozen chocolate said: " We are not going to let you choose what job you want." I stated I understood that but wanted to know if they had customer service jobs before I update my info. She said " We don't have anything for you! If you can't update your resume we don't have anything for you!" So once more I try to reassure her that I will update my info. But why would I do so without knowing if they can even place me! We went back & forth for five minutes before I said skip it and just left. I have a company of my own and when I get to a point where I am in need of more employees they are not the company I will ever go too. I don't suggest anyone else do so either!

So I will say as a white man and a person that is disabled that I was subjected to reverse discrimination from a lady named Jessica Gensic, I wanted to complete my HSE she called on me INE time, 99 percent of the class was black, she called on them and I would have my hand up and She would look out the corner of her eye in disgust at me, I am not racist, I love all people, but I have never been so humility all of my life, I will never go there ever again, and I bought a math book downstairs in the office, and a man that had to be middle aged and with brown hair a a short cropped beard watch me as I put my pin in, so if my bank cards starts acting funny, I know the theif, so let this be an aleet, if your white and need an educae, go to the Library and check out some phonics books, because if you go to An this your gonna be treated like crap, that is why I only finished the eleventh grade, because my teacher were belittling and made me feel like crap, but that is the entire state of Indiana, I have lived here 30 years too long! read more
