I've been working with Julie for over 7 years now. I first was introduced by a mutual friend to have a card reading. I was intrigued by the atmosphere of Clear Waters but did not go back for a while. I was an executive at a top 250 company in the Fort Wayne area, high stress. I had just ended a 33 year old marriage, high stress. Drug addiction hit me very close to "home" in my family, high stress. I came to Clear Waters to learn how to meditate, and relax my mind to allow myself to learn how to appreciate the good things in life. I first began with mediumship level 1. To be honest, I was lost. Not due to Julie, but due to my brain trying to put logic and analyze what I was being taught. I struggled, as I was used to structure. Julie was not a black and white structured leader....she worked with her class, interchanging life stories to enhance or relate to her students. Somewhere in Level 2, Julie and I went to dinner one night. I finally opened up with what I was struggling with. She helped me to realize how to let go and relax my mind. She gave me some very insightful encouragement and guidance, simply to trust my instincts. From that point on, I did just that and have made meditation and relaxation a daily event in my life. I cannot express how much better I am today in dealing with stress and drama. I've watched Julie mature since branching out on her own with Clear Waters. She has grown to be an extremely effective holistic leader. I also have watched the transformations she has been able to help others through her healings and soul retrievals. The positive differences in peoples lives is very impressive. In addition, Julie is honest. I have been with people in class that are full of ego and disruptive to the rest of the group. Julie will address these situations, as she should being a teacher and business owner. She has an obligation to her students and herself in staying "true to her teachings". I have been taking classes and going to meditation meetings for over a year at Clear Waters. The owner is a Shamanic practitioner - she states that no one else can do what she does. I agree: * she talks about her clients and customers behind their backs - giving no names, but enough details that others can easily identify whom she is speaking about. * she jacks her prices up to the hilt on her retail items, and then offers huge discounts as a "sale". * she tells people that other stores like hers are not good because if you go elsewhere to shop or to take classes, you will get a bad spirit "attachment" (which is scary). * she "encourages" (pushes) people to take her classes so they can learn to be as "enlightened" as her. * she complains about her personal life while teaching classes, hard-sells you on the next level of the next class all throughout the lessons, and offers NO positive encouragement on your progress. * if she doesn't like you, personally, she forbids you to attend classes by saying things such as "You don't fit in the Clear Waters community, and it is my job as the spiritual community leader to make sure everyone feels comfortable", and "it's apparent [she is] not the right teacher for [me]". I don't care if I ever go back. I wanted people to know what they are walking into before they get taken for their money and/or their trust. Buyer beware. read more

I was referred by a friend to Clearwater Serenity and to Julie a couple of years ago. I am a seeker and had many questions regarding spirituality. I was skeptical at first and tested the owner, Julie. IMO, she is the real deal and authentic. I have taken many classes, have had regular healings and a soul retrieval. I plan to continue to have healings as well as taking more classes. Since I have been going to Clearwater Serenity, I have grown spiritually and have made friends while going to Clearwater Serenity, I enjoy the community and the opportunity to have conversations with like minded people. Julie's classes teach the novice as well as the spiritual person who has been on their path for many years. You get out of her classes what you put into it. While there are other spiritual shops and services in this great city ,a person who is seeking spiritual enlightenment and seeks services elsewhere will not get the benefit of the extensive knowledge and wisdom that Julie has demonstrated on a regular basis. You get what you pay for. Clearwater Serenity is more than a business and Julie is more than a business woman, she is a beautiful lady who provides a safe place for others to be themselves, to learn and to heal. Fort Wayne is fortunate to have Julie in the community. She has been doing this for over 30 years, originally started helping other from her home and then started her business more publicly in Fort Wayne. I took a Reiki class there recently and was so disgusted that the instructor spoke about other people so negatively and went on and on and on about her finances. She also talked a lot about her credentials but did not pass any of the information she supposedly learned along. I thought it was very unprofessional and I felt heavier after my healing than I did before it. I feel the instructor needs to work on her sincerity. I paid for a class of her talking and did not feel I learned anything. The shop was nice and the other lady working was wonderful but I feel bad that she was frequently interrupted when trying to help me schedule my appointment. I did not end up scheduling and do not think I will be back. I feel all she was interested in was collecting my money and not my well-being or education. read more

I have been going to Clear Waters Serenity Center for almost 2 years and I love it there. I drive from an hour away and wish a place like this was in my own town. Julie is a great teacher and a great person who is very kind and caring. She emits total light and love and is always there for others....even from an hour away via phone, email or facebook. I have know the owner for a number of years and I have not known her to be anything but kind, helpful a very knowledgable In her field. As a matter of fact I have attended some of her classes and have had numerous hearings that have given me such a wonderful light in my soul. That is what this blessed lady does......she spreads 'light and love'. I will never go to anyone else because of her gentle spirit. She doesn't tolerate mean and disrespectful people to attend her classes, especially when she loses good clients because of certain attitudes. So if the shoe fits...wear it! I have gone to this place for the past 3 years now, at first for herbs and oils and genuine stones and then for several readings. I have always felt a sense of peace at this place. The owner is the kindest soul I have ever met...she is professional, caring and confidential. I just love Clearwater sanctuary. The Reiki Shaman healer Julie Peters is just amazing. She's brought a beautiful practice to the community. Julie Scott-Peters is a wonderful practitioner, teacher, and life coach. I have been going for months and I am a different person. I would recommend a healing session with Julie or taking classes. Before my healing, I felt depressed, weighed down, and sad. Right after my healing, I felt that I could run a marathon and that a weight was lifted off of me. I took many classes with Julie and everything was fine for a while. Then she started spreading gossip about some of her clients. All of her classes have been shortened considerably and she spends a majority of class time promoting her other classes and products. Very unprofessional.
