Dental offices and medical clinics are supposed to go by quite fast to meet the next patients needs on schedule, but it was nicely paced. The dental assistants front desk and back house and extremely knowledgeable. We went in for a consult and our insurance covered it. A week later we scheduled an appt for the procedure. She had 2 extractions on same day and paid for that procedure on the day of the extraction. Payment/procedure plans are given to you ahead of time after the consult. Dr. Wilk allowed me to sit in with my mom to translate for her and watch the procedure the whole time. His assistants are great and work together with superb confidence. The office looks renovated with newer equipment. It was very clean. The DA also asked if I wanted something to drink. I highly recommend Dr. Wilk for your oral surgery needs. Professional, speedy, and genuine! Not to mention, he has many certs and degrees on his walls. He's gone through a lot to become a great oral surgeon!

While the staff and Dr. Wilk seemed very capable, my issue is with the business practices. I called…read morewell over a week to schedule the appointment and at that time gave the employee all of our insurance information. We were not told at any time (until the end of the consultation) that they did not take our insurance. Then we had a $200 bill to pay for essentially just an x-ray and a 5 minute conversation with the surgeon, which would have been $50 or so had we been in network. I would suggest letting patients know beforehand that you do not take their insurance so they're not shocked with such a high bill. It's unprofessional and puts off the air of just trying to make a buck otherwise.

I was in the office for exactly 45 minutes!? What?! They are THE BEST. THE BEST! Asked for their super soft toothbrushes and the lady gave me THREE! I was given a bill for $700+ and was told (rudely) that my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure. I contacted my insurer directly and my actual bill amounted to $50. This was only one of many unpleasant interactions with the office. Their manner in dealing with patients over insurance payments, appointments, etc. is so unhelpful and the information provided is full of mistakes. In addition, my new dentist's front office staff mentioned they have had contentious exchanges over obtaining patient records. I understand someone having a bad day, but this is an ongoing problem in their office. I want to believe the managing dentist is not aware of how some of the front office staff treat patients and . If they were aware, I would think they would provide their personnel with training in customer relations. I will not be back.

Second time going to this practice . First time was for a tooth extraction and implant and second…read morewas just the extraction. The staff is awesome. Friendly and professional. Love Dr. Harris. He did a great job both visits. He also has a great sense of humor . My daughter was in the waiting room this morning and told me she could hear me laughing - at a tooth extraction - at an oral surgeon ....got to be pretty good to be cracking up under those circumstances . Highly recommend !

Additionally, I'm being treated for severe TMJ disorder and have have been insisting that something has been wrong with my wisdom tooth since November 2024. Prior to my visit, I asked if they could verify what needed to be done based on the images sent in with the referral and book a date for the extraction. A tentative date was set but I still had to go in and see the doctor and pay the $110. Today I went in and traded $110 and all of my medical history for a conversation on ethics. Despite the chronic TMJ pain, difficulty to repair the tooth (despite what he says), and constant food trappings, Dr. Harris likened my (and the referring orthodontist) desire for the tooth removal to a person wanting to amputate a leg because of a bruise. To arrive and have to pay $110 to get a lecture on "ethics" was a bit much. The ethical thing to do, in my opinion would be to look at the images sent weeks before by the orthodontist and get back to him and discuss it. But ethically, I'm the one dealing with the chipped wisdom tooth causing my idiomatic pain. Completely disgusted about this.

I'm leaving this review due to ongoing communication and billing issues that are leading me to…read moreswitch dental offices. I was originally told my implant process could be handled in-house. After months of waiting for follow-up regarding the specialist portion, I was ultimately referred out. When it was time to coordinate the crown placement, there did not appear to be communication between this office and my oral surgeon's office. I was already in the dental chair and numbed, and I then spent about an hour trying to reach the oral surgeon's office so the next steps could move forward. I also knew from the beginning that this office does not accept secondary insurance, but I disagree with that policy because my primary and secondary coverage together are designed to cover the full balance. I have strong dental insurance and have not had unexpected bills with prior providers. With this office, I received a call and was told I needed to pay $500+ and that I had a deductible related to a pre-authorization submitted for work this year. That was unexpected, and I did not receive a clear explanation that resolved my concerns. There are CareCredit advertisements in the office, and while financing may help some patients, it was frustrating to see financing promoted while secondary insurance is not accepted, especially when secondary coverage is a standard way many patients pay for care without taking on debt. When I said I would be seeking another dentist, the response I received was "I don't blame you," which did not feel professional or helpful. Lastly, I had a filling done about a month ago and I've had pain since then. I'll be having it evaluated by another provider. I hope the practice improves communication, coordination with specialists, and clarity around costs and insurance.
