Our true house hunting experience began August 4, 2018, when we were referred to Anthony Glenn II by another active duty family member. Being a military family, we often found it difficult to work with civilians, when looking for a future place to call "home". We initially were looking into renting a property, but as soon as realtors, management companies, or landlords found out that we were an active duty military family, our phone calls, emails and any attempts at communication were no longer returned. It was appearing as if no one were willing to rent to us because we are active duty military. We decided that we were tired of paying rent and decided we wanted to find a place to call our own. During this whole process we found it very discouraging that we would ever find anything within our specific needs. Buying a home can be an easy or difficult process. Doing your own research for what you want in a home, where you want to buy and what's available in your price range, you think, it'll be easy...right? Being a military family actually made things a bit more complicated during this long and stressful process. After taking time and calling realtors, many didn't understand our struggles as a military family, nor had the patience to answer all of our questions. That all changed, when we were referred to Anthony. The first thing he explained to us is, this is a marathon, not a sprint. Anytime, day or night, holiday or weekend, he was there to answer questions, and alleviate our concerns. He was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we felt like family, not just another one of his clients, this made things much less stressful. He kept us informed about EVERYTHING during the house hunting experience, which helped my husband and I feel more at ease. Anthony was more than accommodating to work with both of us around our very busy schedules. He was flexible and understanding in showing us multiple properties day, night, or on the weekends. Anthony never made looking at homes feel rushed, or that we had to pick from what he showed us as if he was only showing us what he wanted us to see. We are very detail-oriented people, so there were things we were looking for in a property to make it feel like home. When houses we were looking at didn't have these things, Anthony was eager to put together new listings that we could look at. While on our home tours, Anthony would point out "the good, the bad, and the ugly" as he called it. That kind of honesty, was refreshing to hear, instead of him telling us what he thought we wanted to hear, in order to close the deal. He is definitely a man of his word, and follows through with whatever he says he will do for you. After what seems like a very long journey, and looking at way too many homes, we finally found our forever home, in February 2019. We received our keys last Friday, February 8. 2019!!!!! We are eager to get moved in and make it feel like our own. We couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome or our experience and working with Anthony throughout this process.
