I recently had the pleasure of working with Sam Miskowicz from Serri's Team to complete a 1031 exchange and acquire a home in North County. This was quite a complicated transaction due to the precise timing and coordination required for a successful execution. I had a very specific list of criteria that I wanted to meet with the replacement property, and Sam patiently and attentively listened to all my preferences. While I was awaiting the sale of my property, Sam continually kept in touch with me about my progress and searched for replacement properties that met my criteria. He made me consider options that I had not previously considered, and this really expanded my field and enhanced the odds of success. It was a bit of a shifting landscape, as it took longer than expected to sell my property and that obviously affected our replacement property search. Sam ultimately came up with a creative strategy to place a contingent offer on a rare home that became available even before I sold my property. The strategy paid off, and we ended up successfully closing on the home and getting a great price in a competitive market, which is not easy to do with a contingent offer. Throughout the process, Sam was calm, confident, and always gave me the right advice. He fought hard for me throughout negotiations, even if it meant compromising on his bottom line. He accepted a lower commission for himself when the selling party insisted on it (just so I could have the best chance of getting the home I wanted), and he dissuaded me from pursuing other more expensive homes even though they would have yielded him a higher commission. Working with Serri and George was a dream! When I began searching for a San Diego realtor to sell my late father's home in Oceanside, I came across Serri and the Brand Realty Team.
